  • Users in the channel/room are free to disagree and proceed with the Regular Event.

GM EVENT #3: The bigger they are...

The harder they fall! ...IF they fall! [NX]BlindFire claims he refined the genetic sample he used to turn Giant Zombies into unstoppable killing machines and is ready to challenge the Survivors again. We thought he went mad, but it's worse than that. Please, stop him!

WHEN
  • August 24th at 4pm CEST in the EU Server.
HOW
  • Channel will be announced before making the room to allow interested users to gather.
  • Room will be created shortly after.
  • Quickly get in the Event Room, available slots are limited!
  • Room and Channel are switched every round, a total of 2 rounds are hosted.
  • Event will take place in Giant Zombie Mode.
  • Event will take place in the Forsaken map.
  • There are no Weapons Restrictions.
  • Time limit is 20 minutes per round.
  • Score limit is 280 per round.
  • [NX]BlindFire has specific advantages depending on his role:
  • Human:[NX]BlindFire is immortal and has unlimited ammo.
  • Giant Zombie: [NX]BlindFire is a regular Giant Zombie until evolution to stage 2.
  • Kill Giant Zombies as they appear, but be aware: if [NX]BlindFire turns into one of them, you'll have to kill him before his inevitable evolution!
  • If you manage to kill him before he evolves, you scored a valid kill.
  • If Giant [NX]BlindFire successfully evolves, he will become immortal for 60 seconds and invalidate the kill attempt.
  • When his immortality runs out, you'll be able to kill him but it won't count toward the goal.
  • It is possible for [NX]BlindFire to turn into a Giant Zombie multiple times in the same round, so you'll have multiple chances to kill him before his evolution.
  • The round ends when either the 280 points limit is reached, or the 20 minutes run out. Depending on which occurs first.
  • Letting others kill you when playing as Giant Zombies to force new Zombie selections will invalidate the ongoing round.
  • Each user is allowed to join only one round of the Event during the same day. If more than one Event round is joined during the same day, that user won't get any extra reward.
REWARDS
  • All players in the Event Room will be rewarded accordingly to the number of valid kills scored on Giant [NX]BlindFire:
  • Tier 1: at least 1 valid kill = 1x 500 Mileage Points Coupon
  • Tier 2: 4 or more valid kills = 3x 500 Mileage Points Coupon
  • Rewards from the two Tiers stack! If you reach Tier 2 you will win a total of 4 Mileage Coupons!
ANNOUNCEMENT
  • Winners will get their rewards on August 31 after the Maintenance!
Kind Regards,
CSN:Z Team

I installed this game sometime after I came to Steam as free access to the granddad Counter-Strike games. This game features zombies and the classical Counter-Strike gamemodes. However, what ruins this game is over-saturation of Asian tones and fantasies. Not racist. Let's get right into the review.

First off, this game is based off the same engine used to create Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike: Condition Zero. The engine used to create these two games was created sometime around 1998 to 2000, however, this game was released in 2014, 2 years after the release of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. What ticks me is that Nexon, the developers of the game, did not base the game off the later engine used to create Global Offensive, they didn't even bother to use the Source engine as of 2004, the same one used to create Counter-Strike: Source. Now, I am not complaining about the graphics, because every sane and happy gamer only cares about the gameplay, not the graphics.

Second off, the insane microtransactions presented in the game. You start off with the original weapons used in Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, and occasionally, you get a weapon off of these crates or lottery tickets, however, these weapons are temporary and you don't get to keep them forever. The same rules apply to crafted weapons, which makes crafting a useless gimmick in the game. To get a permanent weapon, you have to buy it off the market, and these weapons are powerful, so it's not fair for players that can't afford or don't wish to buy such weapons. Another pet peeve of the microtransactions are the characters. You have to pay to be anyone that isn't the original Counter-Strike cast. You can't even play as a girl without buying the pack. The characters and weapons in the game don't match the overworld textures, so it completely ruins the immersion.

Third off, zombies. The main thing about this game that can ruin it are the zombies. How does the main concept of the game ruin it? There are classes for zombies, but I am not complaining about the concept of the classes, but the way they are all executed. Half of the classes are literally the same thing, which is run at and slash the target. There are also no extra models for the zombies, so you are just going to see the same half-naked zombie overwhelm you. Another thing that ruins it is the immense, God-like health these zombies possess. These zombies usually have health points varying from 5,000 to 20,000, if I can remember correctly. The average AWP, the strongest weapon in the series, only deals a measly 300-450 per headshot. The AWP is the strongest weapon most, sane people have, actually. I'd like to see you continuously place headshots on a zombie that moves at speeds faster than you, which strafes, may I add, and kill it in less than 10 seconds. Another thing that ruins the zombies are the VOX and grenades they have. Yes, the zombies can speak, but it's like learning another language trying to understand them. Speaking zombies just take away all that good immersion too. Adding to the grenades. Yes again, these zombies have grenades, and can throw them as normal and as fast as a human can. These grenades, don't deal damage, but they just push survivors out of hard-to-reach areas. You don't need air-blasting type grenades for people you can already reach with high jumps and speed. Most of the weapons the survivors have are limited anyways. Not to mention, these grenades also have ugly, living faces on them. I understand that the God-like health the zombies have are only available in gamemodes with two teams, but there are bosses in gamemodes were there are CPU controlled zombies, so you're screwed either way. I am also aware about the unfair knockback all the infected receive by all 31-63 blazing guns, staffs, and the failed abortions of high-explosive motherbombs.

Fourth off is the confusing menu navigation. The menu navigation, something I really don't have much to say, rather than it's horrendous and you need to be as smart as an Asian to understand what any of it is. Not racist.

Fifth off is the anti-cheat this game uses. I have recently found out that this game uses XIGNCODE3, an anti-cheat that searches recent history off of search browsers and files on your computer. If it can find anything, let's say, Cheat Engine, which you use for a totally different, single-player game, then expect your game to continuously crash and get errors. Also expect a ban on your in-game profile. Now, I have not had this experience myself, but from a friend of mine. Now, trust me when I say, I have been there to see and note that he has not been using cheats for the game, but has Cheat Engine placed on monitoring. To be quite honest, I'd rather get banned from this game entirely than to play it.

Probably the only things I like about this game are the original Counter-Strike gamemodes, as well as one classical community-made gamemode, Zombie Escape. Probably the only official gamemode made by Nexon in this game that I do like is Zombie Shelter, a game about building and upgrading your base, trying to fend off the enemy team and zombies, while at the same time, waiting for the enemy base's inevitable destruction. I do like Zombie Original as well, a random person is chosen to be infected and has to infect every survivor in the battlefield before the timer runs out. I would ONLY recommend it if you are looking for the first two Counter-Strike games for free, as well as some pub entertainment out of the recommend gamemodes I mentioned above.

Final note. You have seen the trailer for the game, it does look cool, in fact, I think it looked amazing, and that's why I got the game regardless of the reviews to my right. Why did I get something that does not look like anything I found in the trailer? Good graphics, again not caring about the graphics, but original characters and zombie concepts? It's plausible to sue Nexon now. I expected a Counter-Strike mod rather an upgrade to Global Offensive, but with zombies.

This game puts a tear in my eye. No, not the liquid tears, a smoldering, searing tear going straight through my eye. I don't care if you downvote my review because you're Asian. Not racist. I'd only care about people reading this review, and agree on me and every other negative review. I care that people get quality games, like the original Counter-Strike series, or any Valve game for that matter, not this smoking pile of dog crap on the side of the road.

Let's just say that Nexon put "Counter-Strike" in the title with boobs all over the place to trap and make newcomers think it's a good game. Let me tell you, I've fallen for the trap.

TL;DR, Resident Evil and Counter-Strike had a child with Ultra Autism.

After alot time playing i can give my sincere review, the game by itself is fun and entertaining.
You can find alot of games mode, the most popular are:
-Zombie Hero(ZBH)
-Zombie scenario(ZS)
-Team Death Match(TDM)
In total you have 21 games modes -
Enought to spend a few hours!
In game modes like in zombie hero & Darkness you can choose many zombies
(ZBH 13 Zombies ZB4 5 zombies)
-Each with different skills
Pros
-Many game modes to choose
-Updates everyweek
-Active Community
-In game Events rewards
Cons
-While you're playing your ping can increase drastically for no reason
-Body block in some game modes
-Votekicks abuse
-Bugs Abuse.
My advice for new players: Be patience, you can get everthing free in game! More or less, Just takes time.

Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies is a free to play MMO shooter game from Korea that is ported officially from old Counter Strike game, then they added a zombie mode, free to play model and crafting. It worked, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok, was understandable. Has NA, EU, Asian servers. You can play original counter strike or team deathmatch vs zombies. Has a lot of stuff giveaways.

CONS: The UI was rather cluttered and the graphics retro, gameplay will be laggy, the code buggy.

Try it, maybe if you like pvp shooter games.

In this game i literally only like the zombies game modes, that's pretty much it! I wouldn't really play this game for pvp or tdm. But overall since the zombie modes are fun i'd give this game like 7/10 but if it had really close similarities to counter strike, might've been 9/10 for me. But the pvp is glitchy but the zombies game modes a hella fun! Be sure to play with your friends, it's more better if you play with your friends than youself.!!

This game is so good, but the players are so dumb, you have no idea.
First, 90% of the people you'll find are not able to talk english. This already says alot for what is going to follow in my review.
My favourite mode is Zombie Shelter, but of course, since it is kind of hard, you need a proper team to play it. In the five zombie shelter I've played since this review, there are all the default of the players :

- Your stuff gets stolen everytime you die, and you cannot get it back from the other player, since he can't even speak english.
- Noone repairs the structures, which make you end up with no defense at all and about 25 zombies attacking the shelter, including everyone dead.
- You'll tell me, if they're so dumb, why don't you kick them ? Well, to kick players in this game, you need an item in order to make a kick vote which is obtainable with IG currency in the shop. GREAT. This is not the worst, you still need a minimum level to buy it. Is that it ? No. You also only have 3 uses per day allowed.
- Since you all don't understand between each other, you're not able to set each player's role, so you end up with 3 engineers and no people with survival skills/ others...
- The game usually takes 30-60 mins to complete for average players. Most of the players leave in middle game/ when we are starting to loose, even if there is hope left. The bad thing about that: if a player disconects, all his structures/money/weapons are lost.

This game is really good, especially zombie shelter mode, but if you really want to play it, I'd recommend to play it with 3 friends on skype in order to have a maximum win chance.
Oh, I forgot. I've lost the 5 games I've played.

probably one of the worst games i ever played.
the graphics are those of CS 1.6 with as minimal optimization as possible.
but graphics's aren't anything right?
ever thought that CS needed pay2win,crafting and iron sights?
no? well this game gives it to you anyway!
yes you may be able to get every weapon without paying real money,
but just like every other free2play game it takes ♥♥♥♥ing ages.

the maps are some official CS maps and some that didn't got released in the offical games...for a reason.
those specific maps weren't picked for the offical games because there map design was just bad.
But this game is created by Nexon right? who gives a ♥♥♥♥ about map design at Nexon?
i mean they created Combat Arms and Warrock, they don't know ♥♥♥♥ about designing Shooter games which is shown very well in these two "games".
the game modes are okay, there is a good selection of gamemodes but many aren't well made or thought through.
to any aspiring Shooter game designer : shooting 50k HP walls isn't fun. shooting a helicopter for 2 hours isn't fun either.

this game is an insult to the whole franchise.
you know the old times in games like CS:S where you just bought the deagle and killed everyone?
WELL IN THIS GREAT GAME YOU NEED TO BUY AMMO FOR YOUR GUN!
because...CS totally needed that,yeah.

"Oh you don't know anything about this game you just played it for an hour, the game get's better the longer you play it."
yeah that's not how games should work you know? especially not Free 2 Play games that are made with a casual focus.
Casual means that i can jump straight into game, know what to do and have fun,not that i need to craft guns.
i get it,it's free 2 play they need to pay the servers somehow, but 10€ for 1 Character is...more then a little overprized.

Nexon should finally move away from the Shooter Genre, all games they made or published are just terrible.
this is no exception, stay away from it as far as possible.
