Fun game, enjoy the music, but It's impossible to get three stars. on any of those missions. I mean I've utilized the player to the best of its ability especially on the first boss battle where the hitlerheadrobot spews rays at me, before he's even in the map do one double jump and as soon as im about to land he appears and i hit him, I repeat this three or so times and win the round. It's impossible to do better than that! And i only got two stars!

The other thing is I looked at the scoreboard and Im fifth or something, two or three players have 0.3 seconds or something, i think they cheated..

Fun little game if you want the trading cards. Music was nice, game felt fluid, doesnt look like a we created this as quickly as we can kinda game. they could've done more, there's always more to be done! but I enjoyed it.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”

When Albert Einstein gave the definition of insanity, he most certainly could not account for video games and most certainly a jewel as ’10 second ninja’.

10 Second Ninja is a marvelous precision platformer where timing matters the most. I could argue that there is the puzzle element in it as well, as to finding the optimal route in each level, however, I find the precision element to be the main feature of the game. You are the ninja, the one and only, and robot Hitler must destroy you because you are awesome! Seriously, that’s it! The game has some awesomely made basic story that will give you the giggles or even make you get that 6 pack you always dreamed about, with all the laughter it will cause!

The purpose of the game is beating each level in less than 10 seconds. While that sounds easy at first, as the levels progress and become more complex you’ll see that you will have to strategize a bit more, find the perfect route and even do combo kills. After you beat each level you are awarded 1 to 3 stars, depending on how fast you did it, with 1 star just beating the level with at least 1 millisecond left and 3 beating its preset times, usually 3 sec! The catch? The game is split into areas, each area has it’s own boss level that you’ll need to unlock by getting a set number of stars, usually 2 per level. This means that you will replay the majority of the game again and again and again and… well, you get the picture. Eventually, you’ll mechanically press the restart button after 1 sec in the level and ragequit so you ‘reset’ your nerves! Super Meat Boy lovers and such, rejoice! There are also in-game leaderboards to make you feel bad for your performance!

A great addition to this is the achievement system, that compliments the humor of the story! While there are the generic achievements, like beat X area or beat X area with all stars, there are also many funny ones that require you to do something silly in game, like canceling a cinematic or the credits, to be precise there is no credits option but a button labeled ‘The morons who made this’.

While the graphics aren’t something special are just what this time of game needs. However, the music and sounds are great. The music in the menu gives the ninja-y meditation dojo theme (take your pick) but in-game, it’s fast paced and accompanies the gameplay perfectly! The game supports both keyboard and controller inputs, with the keyboard being completely customizable.

While at first, I didn’t give much value to this title in order to try it, while I generally love platformers like S.M.B. or Fenix Rage, I now know that I have never been more wrong! And as a great bonus to all this, this, epically made with love, 1 sec restart simulator has a sequel, that for the time being resides at my wishlist.

Overall, if you are a precision platformer fun this game will easily be a 9/10, due to the attention to detail its developers had. However a more realistic score considering more current games would probably be along 8/10, simply because I do have to take into account it’s graphics and given all the humor it provides up front, it will dry out, as the achievements are 1 time only.

Thus far, I'm pretty impressed with this game; Ten Second Ninja is very simple, fast-paced, and easy to get into.
I don't have much to say about it because, frankly, there's not much to say- it's very fast and very fun- it's in the same vein as games like Super Hexagon and Super Meat Boy. In fact, this game should be renamed "Super Ten Second Ninja" in order to fit in with them. No? Alright, that's a stupid idea. I'll tell you what's not a stupid idea: playing this game.

If you enjoy fast-paced platformers, this one's for you.

10 Second Ninja is a singleplayer / platformer / indie game.

10 seconds time for every level

S imple mapstyle
E ntertaining :D
C ontrols are changeable ^-^
O ften you need more than one try… ._.
N o roboter should survive °-°
D amnit. Damnit. Damnit! >.<

N ice idea to make a speed killing platformer
I ntroduction is short but enough (in level 1)
N inja kills the robots with sword and shuriken
J umping skills and quick fingers are needed
A chievements and leaderboards!

Price: 7,99 € is a bit expensive for this game.
I would say it’s 4-5 € worth so I advise to watch out for a discount.

The game requires speed, skill and a clear head. So if you have a slow reaction time it maybe just makes you freaking out. O: If you like games like „Super Hexagon“ or „Super Meat Boy“ this game is a must have for you!

Many games have attempted to capture the essence of pure speed as part of their appeal. It's powerful when applied correctly, so often being impossible to emulate in real life. You can't run like Sonic, your car doesn't go as fast as Captain Falcon's - and I'd be very surprised if you can move like the hero of 10 Second Ninja.He's a double jumping, sword slashing, shuriken throwing robot destruction machine. Madly dashing through short platforming puzzles, his ultimate goal is always the same: destroy the nazi robots as fast as possible. Half the game is sequencing and strategy, determining the most efficient uses of those precious second jumps and limited throwing stars.At first a level will seem straight forward - a combination of runs and leaps that take out everything in what you'll assume is a respectable time.Things can be confusing at first, for different reasons - but then you notice the time savers. The opportunities to take out two enemies with one move, skip jumps or maintain momentum. In later levels the addition of complications like falling rocks and portals change the equation. The slow consideration to start a level is a nice counter-point to the split-split-second reaction times needed to perform the plans you come up with.That's the other half. Thumb-mutilating skills coupled with reset after reset to shave milliseconds off times in pursuit of those required to unlock levels or climb the bragging rights only online leaderboard. The game controls wonderfully and the simplistic art uses precise frame stages to broadcast changes in status, vital for instant understanding. While it won't be for everyone, Ninja does exactly what it set out to, with style and humour to boot.

This is the single best game involving ninjas and robot nazis on Steam. 10/10(second ninjas)

10 Second Ninja is fast, fun, and flashy as heck. The levels are simple and short, but if you're anything like me you'll be spending hours attempting to minimize your time on every level and get that sweet spot on the leaderboards! Perfect for quick pick up and play sessions but also challenging and deep enough to practice for hours until you're confident enough to beat your friends (and maybe even the world)

Short, responsive, sweet and pricey. Just some keywords to describe 10 Second Ninja. You have 10 seconds to clear a level by defeating all of the enemies. You start with some simple platforms, but a few levels later the game will introduce something new. Falling pillars and portals to name a few. It requires speed, skill and a clear head. I think I would describe the game as a puzzle platformer, even if it's more action focused than you would think. There are 5 worlds to complete, and each world has about 8 levels I think. But I think it took me less than an hour to complete all 5 worlds (ok, ok, I didn't clear every level with 3 stars) so it's pretty damn short. But man, is it good. Normally I'd say that if you enjoy a game the price doesn't really matter. But it's hard to justify the price for this game just because it's so freaking short.
So, let it be for now and grab it when it's on sale, or at least costs €5 or less.

10-second-massacre on one-screen-level.

It's about:

  • slaughter everything robotized on level in 10 seconds with sword, shuriken or using level's enviroment;
  • defeating big, lazer-eyed Hitler's head (few times !);
  • searching right route to beat the level;
  • making your movements precise and fast.

Why you should play this:

  • you like platformers and time-limited-levels approach;
  • you don't mind to face a challenge and try the same level dozens (or hundreds) of times until the moment you find right direction to move and attain perfection in proportion of speed and preciseness;
  • you appreciate thoroughly thought level-design;
  • you like to transform "Oh, it was so close..!" feeling into "Yes, I did it!" waul;
  • you've always been curious what could have been hidden behind Hitler's mustaches.

Why you may not like it:

  • you're about the opinion that time-limited-levels are some kind of perversion;
  • you do not like to repeat the same level a lot of times just for getting perfect result or higher score;
  • controls feel kind of "slippery" - you will have to spend some time to got used to it;
  • game reveals its true nature only when you agree to reach the perfect score and not against of going through some amount of training and trying - otherwise, it's just a game you come back to from time to time when you have "nothing to play" in 150+ games library.

The cursed mix of training, trying, failed attempts and strong words is the substance from which the only true ninjas are born.

P.S. Gamepad is strongly recommended.

I decided that I was going to play through my entire backlog and the way I was going to do it was to give each game an hour. If it grabs me I'll play it longer. The first game I played in my library was 10 Second Ninja and I was really pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure if this game is for me, it's easy to learn and hard to master.

You have 10 seconds to kill nazi ninjas from the the first movement you make in the game. It sounds simple but it really grabs you in. Unfortunely for me it's also quite frurstrating. I've never played these types of games before and I hit a wall pretty quickly.

I don't remember where I got this game from, I'm sure it's one of my humble bundles but this game is definitely worth checking out so keep an eye for it.

Very competently made, fast game. Excellent music and sound design. Perhaps a little too hard to get more than 1 star on levels, but I suppose that is the point! While it is great as what it does, I do think the price point is far too high, to be brutally honest. More strategic than it first seems though, so there is some time to be spent, however difficulty does not equal value for money.

Speedrun Game!

Attention if you dislike games with a tight timer, don't buy this game it will utterly frustrate you.

After I have dispensed this sage advice I have to say, I know why people seem to like this game. It's fast, it's easy and it's fiendish fun.

Ninja Die Alot has much to do in this game, run around, killing robots and bosses and navigate some hazzards like spikes and stuff. But the first rule of Ninjaism (pun) "Never give up!", while the second "Get better!" will keep Die Alot striving for more and more stars or maybe he just needs more lives?

The game supports controllers and I recommend using one in this game, it's far better to control the game.

Although the gameplay is simple and easy, the game by itself isn't too easy, you have to achieve stars, which will unlock the next world for you, the more stars you gain, the better.

Graphics and sound are, ok, they are nothing earthshaking, but they at least fit the game and aren't unsightly mashups. The speedrun part of the game can be frustrating, but in this game the speedrun works fine, perfection is the objective.

Given the game isn't a masterpiece it's diverting and a perfect match for a short break or a short moment of Zen... well, please don't take the Zen thing seriously.

Expressed on a scale of 0 to 15 it's a rock solid 8 points, or a solid 3 or C grade. Nothing perfect, but entertaining. nothing that is a must have, but still not a lead duck on an account. Yes, it seems to be hard, yes, you will be shamed.

Conditionally Recommended

Yes! This game is fun and frustration, it's fast and yet not too easy. If you are fan of Jump & Runs you'll love this game, if you like speedruns, you'll dig this game. Be careful you don't get hooked on it. On the other hand, it's also a "casual" game, with very simple gameplay. And if you can't stand getting frustrated by hundredfolds of deaths of your little avatar, then just don't buy the game. Another drawback is the steep price, it's a small game... if you are stubborn and skilled enough you can play it through in less than three hours, which just is not enough content for eight bucks.

Best played in short doses, as a break filler or as a sweet little morsel in between online raids, to keep the fingers flexible.

I'm not sure about it being worth the pricepoint, as it plays quite a bit like a really well made flash game, but none-the-less, this game is a piece of work. Fun fast-paced ninja action. I guess this game is worth the $10 because you get to kill hitler too!

Challenging, fun, clean graphics and easy to play with either keyboard or controller. A+ to the Devs.
