Well it's almost more fun then doing on my own car. Realy - 30 minutes for general repair of whole car, no quirks, no broken tools and definitely no unmovable rusty screws. :)
It is not perfect, for example names of spare parts in Czech language are pretty lame and sometimes there is serious pixel hunting when you want to zoom and react with some little parts.
But it's original, cheap and don't know exactly why - but it is fun!

I like this game it show the basic understanding of mechanics and would recommend you to play it. the only thing i would like to see is an other game like this that goes more in depth. Like having to work on more different types of motor vehicles from motor cycle all the way up to over the road truck or 18 wheelers. that you can do miner repairs at the beginning of the game and as you progress in the game the more major the repairs get by doing every thing real life mechanics do. for example rebuilding an engine from the inside and out.

After reading several reviews and noticing it was on sale, I decided to give this game a try. I have a Quad Core 3.8ghz AMD, GeForce 730 2gb Graphics Card, and 8gb DDR3 RAM. As soon as I loaded up the first vehicle in the game, I experienced low framerates. I exited and changed the video settings to Quality High, Resolution 1280x720, VSync OFF, Antialiasing DISABLED (These are the same settings I use for DayZ, which gives me 40+FPS). I now have 0 drop in framerate, and the game still looks beautiful. I've been an experienced mechanic for over 10 years. I am a certified CNC Machinist, as well as a certified Mercedes-Benz Technician. I've been a gamer since the NES days. The graphics are really good, and I haven't experienced any noticeable bugs, glitches, or clipping issues. The sound is ok, but nothing to brag about. I did listen to the radio, but had turned it down 50% before I even started. I never found it to be annoying. Movement around the shop environment is pretty smooth. No issues there. The game starts every level with a worksheet that explains what the customer wants you to check for or replace. Great thing is, you can refer back to this worksheet at anytime. Most of the parts can be visually inspected without removing them, but a lot of parts can only be inspected upon removing something in front of it (i.e. a timing belt before inspecting the water pump). The electrical components must be checked using the OBD Scan Tool. You are also able to test drive vehicles in order to diagnose bad parts, and the physics are good. Right clicking the mouse opens a menu allowing you to install parts, remove parts, turn the chassis transparency off/on, and turn the parts color, such as red, yellow, and green corresponding to the condition, off/on. Some of the parts can simply be removed, others must be unbolted and bolted back on. Everything must be installed in the reverse order of removal. Yes, you can forget to install parts, but you cannot give the car back to the customer until you fix your mistakes. The game automatically checks tasks off your worksheet as you complete them. After a little over an hour of playing, I found this game to be very fun. I'm impressed that any developer would tackle a game like this, and with such detail. Don't expect it to be 100% realistic, such as every nut and bolt, accurate pricing, names of cars, etc. I don't think anyone could learn the basics of car repair from this game, but I do think someone can use this game to understand the overall concept of automotive repair. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this game. I wish the concept of this game would've implemented on Forza, Grand Turismo, or Need For Speed a long time ago! If you're interested in automotive repair, get this game now that it's on sale.

A customer ask me to change the air filter. So I took his car out and did a little test drive but somehow turn into a crash test.

11/10 would crash again.

8/10 can simulate working on cars. This is the best car simulator of its kind I have seen be done. I like how it resembles what it's like to work as a mechanic.

Well this is an interesting one.
It is a puzzle game wrapped up in a car mechanic wrapper. Easy, at your own pace kind of action. Really interesting.

While it will not really teach you how to fix a motor or a car in general. It does help illustrate some of the Anatomy of a vehicle in general and the essence of disassembling and replacing parts. For example, if you need to replace the clutch, you can't just pull the clutch out. You have to remove the wheels and axels and starter. Then you can get at the transmission and clutch.

The driving system is a bit overly sensitive (when using a keyboard) and the controls are a little under defined, but overall a really interesting, relaxing puzzle game

A fun game if you like to work on cars or just want to learn more about it. The game could have been more realistic and you get a little bored after a while but again if you like cars it worth checking it out 7/10

I'm a cheapskate to be honest, so I usually bought game based on their high replayability and when on sale. This game not only entertaining but also educating me about cars though I drove it daily. At least, this game showed me how it looks like some parts and where it located.

For those who expect this game have a "super" real and detail simulation about car and it's part, forget it. Better attend real course in real life and start a job as a mechanic. I recommend it for entertainment and "initial education" about car mechanics.

I run an automotive repair and customization shop and am an A.S.E. certified tech and I love the concept of the game but the execution was terrible. It is obvios that they did not employ anyone in the staff that is a mechanic. There are a huge amount of things overlooked (like where are all your tools?, theres a red tool box that is smaller than anything that could hold any usable amount of tools) Or how you buy brake pads individually(4 per car) (irl they are sold as a set per axle), and why is it harder to find parts in the game then it is in real life? It is also more frustrating trying to navigate the view and be able to click the parts then it is to do it in real life. Also the OBD scanner should be better than a $100 scanner since it is just a simulation....

For the most I wanted to love it but just couldnt, 1 star all the way

If you like to work on cars and you like puzzle games this IS for you. If you know nothing about the basics of how a car is assembled but like puzzle games this might not be for you. For instance, if you don't already know that a fuel pump is installed in the gas tank and the filter is in-line with that pump then you will be searching for days where to find a part that is supposed to be replaced.

This game will not teach you how to fix a car. However, it can give you some basic ideas into what makes a car tick as well as learning some terminoligy such as what a tie rod actually is and where you would find it on a common car. If your a mechanic (like me) it can be a little frustrating at times when you know what needs to be replaced and it makes you go through a ton of unneeded steps to make that replacement. But again, it is a puzzle game more than how a person would really work on a car.

Some things that could be added to the tutorial IMHO would be to show that you can go to the repair bench and fix some of the parts rather than buying new...

I'd also like to see controller support...WSAD in the test driving portions can make you sea sick.

Lastly, the graphic optimizations need some work. I play this on an 27" iMac; I had to turn a lot of the options off to make it playable as well as reducing the resolution. When I play it on my MacBook Pro on Windows7 I dont have to...even though my iMac has much better specs.

All that said, I am very happy with this game and look forward to the new update.
