Update 6.2 Released: Skill-based rooms

Players now have the option to add a 'Skill Restriction' flag to rooms they create. The 'Novice' option will prevent players level 20 or over from joining. The 'Expert' option will prevent players under level 20 from joining.

Hopefully this allows both groups to play matches at a level they prefer.

(Note: this replaces the 'Room Type' option from before, which was confusing and didn't have much functionality besides limiting which options were available for basic rooms).

Other changes:

  • Fixed throw speed being affected by slow-motion
  • Fixed throw being overall weaker in 6.1 than it was in previous versions
  • Fixed bots aiming too low, b/c they were using the wrong speed calculation (introduced in 6.1)
  • Changed homing ball behavior. It will generally home much stronger now, even at high throw speeds. However once it passes by a target player, it won't do a mid-air turn as well. So it's both more accurate but also more straightforward to dodge if timed correctly.
  • NumLives value (in custom game modes) now works for PvE bots
  • Fixed missing textures in Trifecta

Incredible game with a very dedicated Dev; he's always wokring on the game implementing new features and making various other improvements.

This game is tons of fun and a very fresh take on the generally dry genre of online FPS.

Check out the TotalBiscuit review on youtube for a more in depth look at the game.

I'd also like to address the negative reviews stating there is no one online. As of now (01/2/16) I have never had a probelm finding people online. The population is quite small, but I've always been able to find active games. I even played the other day at 7 am and, while numbers were certainly light, there were still a few people playign online.

    Robot Roller-Derby Disco Dodgeball

This game is much better then I expected when I got it on the 2015 holiday sale.
Its easy and simple, you know whats need to be done, all you need to do next is aim!

The game is really, REALLY colorful with a great soundtrack to follow.
The thing I like the most about this game is that I can turn the game music down, turn on my own and just play for a few hours, only because its so simple!

The multiplayer is quite dead by now, but the bots can really pull off a fight on a free for all on hard.
Pick it up with some friends and you should have a great time!

This game is a great twist on an arena fps game. Everybody plays as a robot running around the arena, picking up balls, throwing them at each other, and getting power-ups. It's the kind of hilarious chaotic fun that is fantastic for LAN get togethers or big groups of people. The soundtrack is fantastic, the visuals are bright and the colors of the arena vibrate to the beat of the song that is playing. It's a simple game with simple mechanics and it is very visually appealing and nicely polished. There's a single player mode which pits you up against a number of special oppenents to really help you train so you can beat the snot out of your friends later. It even has it's own steam inventory, so you can collect aesthetic items and trade them with your friends. If anybody could know that this is a good dodgeball game, it would be me.
