A near-perfect game, I'll say.
The addictive nature and abundance of content on offer just makes this a stellar Rollercoaster tycoon, management, sim., action, RPG...whatever. Heck, even if you get tired after career mode, the godly sandbox - and other build options too - will keep you playing like as if it's you trying to perfect your own model railway; except for the fact that there will be a phallic-shaped pool.
Yet, above all, the game engine is old. I mean it - Nerd³ (a YouTuber I adore) had to stop building his park due to the game just being unstable and slow; even his rig blew the specs for this game out of the water! But then his park was full of crap here and there. It just makes me hope that RCT4 exploits modern hardware for full potential...if Atari even TRIES to make the game good. Okay, quasi-tangent over.
All in all, RCT3: Platinum's seemingly never-ending torrent of content has kept me going for some time (nearly 60 hours, to be exact), despite showing it's age. And if Atari does make us glare daggers when it comes to the questionable sequel - PC, NOT MOBILE - we'll still have this.
