swing mechanic pretty rough, feels super delayed and rigid... poor shot system... dispalys no estimations what so ever outside of the reticle you are given. generally just feels unpolished. the course designer is a great feature... but thats about it. In the end, it feels like another unpolished unity game; Thats not to say that I am down on the game because it was made with unity, but there is a distinction between a fine tuned, well crafted game made with unity and a generic, slapped together asset store unity game; this game is somewhere in between... leaning more on the generic unpolished unity game side. I was honestly looking forward to this game as I really enjoy golf games... but this was a major dissapointment as well as a bit over-priced... 20$ is fine, even 25$. I do feel that it will become much better in future updates, and am excited for such updates... but as of right now... it feels unfinished. Another not... The announcer's audio is not mastered at all... it just feels like your annoying friend is sitting next to you, commenting on you swing as you fumble to get use to the game's mechanic.
I do not wish to make the developer feel bad at all... I just hope this gets better than what I paid is all. also, I am running in a Titan graphics card with general high end specs on my comp... why is this game not optimized? unity has specific tools for optimization... and worse case scenario... buy the SectrSTREAM asset to help optimize your scenes.
overall, I did kind of enjoy the game, but there are a ton of issues aside from what i sated above... one major issue is the fact that on a perfectly functional highspeed internet connection, the game will lose the connection and kick you from a solo game while in the middle of playing every 5 or so minutes. It is a pretty serious problem, as it breaks immersion and completely ruins the matches, even if you are playing single player, which by the way... makes no sense to have any heavy internet usage.
to conclude... I am expecting to be entirely happy with this game in the next few updates.
