Dear Diary today I learned how to draw and also learned how to quantum physics inorder to save the helpless stars. My drawing improved greatly after playing this game,my art work is now able to be hung from the fridge at my house.

8/10 game

The puzzles are deceptively difficult. I think an "easy" difficulty setting or some sort of hint system would do good. But still a fun game. The art style is really fun and fresh. But I would probably wait to buy it until it goes on sale.

A nice little kiddie-themed puzzle game where you draw whatever you wish with the intention of guiding a red ball to the star placed about randomly in the map.

After having remote crashes on my previous gaming laptop, I tried it again on my newly built tower and the crashing subsided. I was able to play it but I'm not creative enough to figure out unique ways to get the ball to the star so I end up drawing random polygons and poking the ball until it does what I want it to do. I feel as if you need to have creativity that's out of this world and spectacular problem solving skills in order for this game to reach it's full potential.

Whatever the case may be, the shoe definitely does not fit in terms of pricing. If you are one of the 'puzzle gurus' on steam then you might like this title but I suggest buying it when it's on sale.

Maybe an interesting concept, but it doesn't actually work most of the time.

Provides a crayola canvas where whatever you draw comes to life. You essentially manipulate a ball using your creations and try to hit stars. It's actually pretty ingenious. An open playground means there's no right or wrong solution and leaves a lot to your imagination.

Charming graphics and the draw mechanic is fun, but gets repetive fast and way to expensive in my opinion.
(I dont have much Steam time on this but played it outside of steam to).

I would say get it while its ~2-3 bucks. Negative vote cause of the steep price for such a puzzle game.

Open-ended gameplay allows for creative, memorable moments. However, the different styles of play result in difficulty that's either way too easy, or way too hard. The biggest selling point here is the nostalgia and eminently charming presentation, but when the actual gameplay is so lackluster, I can't give a recommendation - especially for $20, which is absolutely ridiculous for this.

This one works a little better on a touch screen than with a mouse, but still works great on a computer. The gimmick with Crayon Physics Deluxe really threw me off.
Do anything. Like literally draw whatever the hell you want and see if it works. Go crazy.
Here's a ball. Here's a star. The ball has a crush on the star. Get them together.
Also, forget straight lines. Use your crayons, crazy colors, go outside the lines.
If you enjoy structure and knowing the limits of your games, this isn't going to work for you.
If you love puzzle games and wish you could get in a quick few stages before nap time, this one's for you.

Good game. Soothing and at a lot of times hilariously unexpected. Then after about an hour the challenge starts to work its way up. You go from making bridges and boxes to golf clubs. A lot of it is trial and error. Some of it is luck. There is no given way to complete each challenge.

Some of the challenges get good, but not frustrating. In hindsight though this is one of those games that you play.... but don't return to and that's not a good thing for a $20 game. There's nothing compelling me to return. This game is good if you're a creative person or just like drawing with a mouse.

Each level has one goal: to guide an object from point A to point B. The fun comes from experimenting, coming up with different solutions and seeing your contraptions take on a life of their own. It can be hard to draw certain shapes, and sometimes the physics seem to bug out. Although I laughed the hardest when my scribbles reached critical mass and started twitching wildly and flinging pieces all over the place.

We all need some games for when somebody comes over with his kid. This is one of them. I also played it a bit on offline mode (I had nothing better to play), and I quite enjoyed it.

This game never fails to put a smile on my face.

Crayon Physics Deluxe is pretty easy, I'll admit. But this game is elegant in its simplicity -- get the red ball to the star, and draw with coloured crayons to get it there. The music is pretty relaxing, and in general the game isn't very fast-paced. A great game to play when you're stressed or annoyed.
The real fun is when over-the-top solutions work, or when a simple but crude solution works right off the bat.

That said, the game's physics engine isn't perfect. I've had it freak out a few times while playing, mostly from jamming too many objects in one space. But when it freaks out, it does so in spectacular ways, which is a plus.

Overall, this game is fun and relaxing, but $20 ($22 CDN) isn't worth it. If the game is on sale though, it's worth a buy.

One of the best games ever made. Most of my time has been spent on the flawless iPad port, but this is a game that everyone should try.

Basic physics-based puzzle game, in which you draw objects to help move a ball from Point A to Point B. Personally, I got a lot of joy from the game, but it would not be for everyone. Not worth $20.
