Alan Wake Bonus Materials is free DLC for Alan Wake, containing a number of behind-the-scenes items, some graphic novels set in the world, the sheet music for the soundtrack, and the scripts/screenplays for the games. Honestly, it's a substantial amount of bonus material provided for free - while not everyone may be interested in the background materials, for those who are more interested in what goes into games like these, it's fantastic for the price.

Since this is free, I am reviewing it based on whether it's worth the time to download and sift through. The material covers the game, both DLC chapters and American Nightmare. A great song with a great music video that really captures the mood of the game, including a number of major elements, and has the actor Alan's face and body was based on "reprising that role".

Compelling images. And yes, that awesomely goofy idea of the cabin actually walking around on bird legs *is* there! So are other ideas they didn't do, many of them cool. The screenplay as well contains things cut or changed. Good graphic novels, fit with the tone.

Solid documentaries, very informational and engaging. They talk inspirations, themes, mood, approach, etc. They're honest and mostly free of the annoyance of developers talking up their work. Great soundtrack. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to know behind-the-scenes info about all things Alan Wake.

Great bonus content I'm really glad that this is free and that there is really a lot of stuff, but one sad thing is that, that there is no songs from episode endings! reVote: 8/10
