One of the best soundtracks made for a game!

Wow... this is just a breathtaking soundtrack! Starbound wouldent be complete with out it. Over 60 tracks for only $4.99 such a steal! Some tracks were heart touching and some you could play air drums with :3. Overall this is astonishing and is cheap to buy! This Also contains a whole bunch of experimental tracks not available in the finished game! All together the soundtrack contains a whopping 60 tracks for a total of 5 hours and 44 minutes of play time.

A typical digital album nowadays has about 12 to 15 songs for about $12.99
Most of these include singing about love and loss and jail.
Basically the same thing over and over again.

This OST has 60 instrumentals for $4.99
These tracks are largely ambient music that contain a feeling of serenity.
Your imagination can create so many scenarios from ambient music like this.

It also helps you concentrate on your all-night assignments without pulling up the actual game.

That would be very, VERY distracting.

And distracting is bad.

Bad bad.

Especially on a paper due that afternoon.

The Soundtracks are fitting so perfect to the game, to the atmospheric and deep endless space.
The Music gets me everytime ! Makes me feel so small in this world.
The experimental Soundtracks could be a bit better, and the ones by Solatrus are not very good in my opinion.
But Curtis Schweitzer did a ♥♥♥♥ing great job !
Was worth the money.

Amazing soundtrack.

I wanted to describe how much I enjoy the game and the soundtrack of it, but when it comes to music, words are nonsense. Meaningless. All that matters is you floating in space, of music.
So let me put it this way: sometimes I get off work late, I'd come back home around 2 in the morning or even later, I'd take a shower, drink a full glass of water or two, and lay my tired ol' body in bed, and I'd listen to this album on my ipod for a while. It'd make everything easier.

The only thing that I'm slightly dissatisfied with is the quality of the music files. I'd really like to have a higher quality version. Currenty they're all mp3, hopefully when the game is officially released(that's like, probably in a thousand years) they'd give wav or flac format then.

This Soundtrack is one of the best ones I've ever heard. In many videogames, the music is its OWN character. And you can bet this soundtrack hits that theme real hard.

And for those of you not knowing how to play or access it, I refer you to this link:

It'll tell you what you need to do. :D

THIS OST is the tip of Starbound's awesomeness.
Without it, it would be an empty experience.

Just awesome and relaxing tunes , recommended for everyone!

This soundtrack is amazing. Some music really got me dancing, others really touched my heart. These songs make you think about the world around you and how beautiful things could be. But other times these songs really make you feel amazing and confident. All of these songs (60 for now) are all unique. It was definately worth 5 bucks. It also helps the devs to use the money to make a better Starbound experience (its still so good right now, amazing like Terraria). Im so glad I had the money to buy this and I knew at once how lovely it was. Im really emotional which is probably why I get so sad or excited by these songs. Buy them to find out yourself :D
