One of the best soundtracks made for a game!

Wow... this is just a breathtaking soundtrack! Starbound wouldent be complete with out it. Over 60 tracks for only $4.99 such a steal! Some tracks were heart touching and some you could play air drums with :3. Overall this is astonishing and is cheap to buy! This Also contains a whole bunch of experimental tracks not available in the finished game! All together the soundtrack contains a whopping 60 tracks for a total of 5 hours and 44 minutes of play time.

A typical digital album nowadays has about 12 to 15 songs for about $12.99
Most of these include singing about love and loss and jail.
Basically the same thing over and over again.

This OST has 60 instrumentals for $4.99
These tracks are largely ambient music that contain a feeling of serenity.
Your imagination can create so many scenarios from ambient music like this.

It also helps you concentrate on your all-night assignments without pulling up the actual game.

That would be very, VERY distracting.

And distracting is bad.

Bad bad.

Especially on a paper due that afternoon.

(Welcome to College, leave your sanity over in this wastebucket and pick up some insomnia on your way to orientation)

The Starbound sound track is really amazing, it includes rhythmic soothing patterns in most of the music. Other than that, it includes a wide variety of music, which I enjoyed immensely. It also includes some expieriemental more electronic tracks, but those aren't as well made.
If you like more synthy, piano, and strings, I definitely reccomend this soundtrack.
Expierimental - 7/10
Others (Including tracks 43 and 44) - 9/10

I don't know about other computers but for mine I had trouble finding it. Using this method, I was able to fix this problem. If you right click Starbound in your library, and hit properties, it will bring you to a window with multiple tabs. Go to the DLC tab, and then uncheck install and recheck it. It should say theres an update. If you download that, it will work. If that doesn't, go to the search window and go to programfiles X86, Steam, SteamApps, common, and then Starbound. In there there should be a folder titled Starbound Complete OST. All the tracks should be there.
If it doesn't work, comment and I may be able to help.

This Soundtrack is one of the best ones I've ever heard. In many videogames, the music is its OWN character. And you can bet this soundtrack hits that theme real hard.

And for those of you not knowing how to play or access it, I refer you to this link:

It'll tell you what you need to do. :D

And of course, you can also use Steam's built-in music player.
