If one has read any of the reviews for this game, you will already know about the Stress and limited play per day.
If one can ignore that for a moment, one will discover plenty of other reasons to avoid this game. Let's also put aside the inconsistencies in translations (especially noticeable on set items), and the dreadful canvas chat that most players use to draw male genitalia.

The character creation is severely limited. Not only are there gender locked classes, there are only 3 or so faces, the incredibly stupid "Chest" slider for females, and limited choices of hair & skin colors. Want more colors and faces? Prepare to pay for them! Dyes for hair & skin can be bought. But not only that, there are multiple dye levels (ranging from $.50 to $4 each), with the most expensive giving you a chance to make one's color pick more precise. I am not kidding. I've never seen something so ridiculous in all my gaming years. Dyes are available for weapons, armors, avatar or costume pieces, and what is labeled "vehicles" or mounts.

Another pay item, mounts. Most MMOs have them, horses or other creatures that allow one to get around faster. Dark Blood's pay mounts are NOT PERMANENT. For a 30-day mount, it's $12 USD. Who in their right mind would pay that much?
Storage expansion, $4 for 30 days. Shared storage, which, like most of the other things this game requires payment for, is usually standard for a game like this: $2 for 30 days.

I feel ashamed for getting my brothers to try this game with me on its release day. I do not recommend this game at all! Stay away! Or if one needs further proof, install the game just to check out the in-game store.

08/06/2014: I found out that when using a dye, one must select a box of color from the palette. After that, get ready for something even worse than what I orginally thought, a little circle bounces around the area that was selected. Then one must press "Stop" and whatever color it lands on is the color that the weapon/armor/hair/skin/mount is changed to.

There was also new ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ added to the in game store recently. The boxes that give you a random Vampire or Samurai avatar item... can give potions instead. NOWHERE in the description for the item does it say could also drop potions. This game is bordering on fraud.

This game has a few serious issues that corrupt an otherwise fun game. The primary, and most offensive issue is the "stress" system. You can only go into so many areas and fight before you are too "stressed" to continue. The fanboys of this game will be happy to point out that you can still happily wander around town and ogle your character, or go fishing and craft a potion to extend your playtime. Either way, this type of mechanic is unnacceptable and unnecessary in a f2p game. (If you doubt that statement, I'd like to cite 'League of Legends,' 'Path of Exile,' and 'Marvel Heroes' as just a few examples of successful f2p games without gameplay limiting cash grab mechanics.

The second problem with this game was the worst, copious, obstructive, intrusive, and completely over the top screen tearing I have ever seen. Yes, there is a check box for v-sync. No, that check box doesn't work. Yes, I tried to find a solution on the forums. Yes, my google-fu failed me.

The last, and slightest problem with this game, is the ridiculous and over the top boob physics, complete with boob size slider action! Yes, you too can now create your very own pair of walking, fighting boobs! Normally, I could care less about this sort of thing, however in this game, it was just bizarre, and gave it the feeling of playing a bad boob jiggle sim.

In conclusion, I plead with you to avoid downloading this horrid steaming pile. The fighting mechanics are alright, and honestly, I'd probly have stuck with it a lot longer if they hadn't included that horrendous "stress" system. Send greedy publishers a message, and avoid at all costs.

Grindy, repetitive game which expects you to repeat the same stage over and over and over again before allowing you to move onto the next stage.

This is really just Nexon's Dungeon Fight Online/Dungeon and Fighter clone.

If you liked DFO/DnF, you might like this.

Limited gameplay (Yeah its a permanent feature get used to it)
Cant log in half the time (Guess they can only support so many people at once)
Its a near rip off of DFO (Which is being re-released soon), the skills and character designs and how the game plays.
Its just something to avoid...

Cons: Poor graphics. Stiff browser-like gamepay. Too many similar attacks, use of asdfgqwertzxcvb on keyboard plus arrow keys is just insane.

Right off the bat you find that classes are genderlocked. Then you find that the female models are built with nipples. Why would they be built with nipples unless they were to be shown. And then why would you show the nipples?
There isn't a single female character (npc or otherwise) that appears within the first 20 minutes I spent playing this game that was useful for anything unless she was skantily clad with double-D breasts.
Gameplay wise it's severely underwhelming. Controls feel terrible. Compare it to something like Lunia, which was released long before this game, and the game's controls just feel like absolute ♥♥♥♥.

3/10 Would not play - Feminists would rage

I've really enjoyed this game since launch, it's exactly the type of game I was looking for, I love the artwork, animations, I love how the combat is skill based, you have flashy skills and combos in PvP, fun and interesting dungeons for PvE, and the boss fights are very enjoyable, you have 6 character slots right away, for a F2P game, does that even happen anymore?

You're able to find costume sets for your character while you dungeon, while you fish, you can trade them with other players, so your character isn't stuck looking ugly for the entire game, until you pay the game developers $ like in some other games.

To address the negative reviews quickly, before today there was a fairly strict limit on how many times you could run dungeons per character each day, that limit has since been doubled, with the new stress/fatigue system you're able to run dungeons for 4-5+ hours a day per character, so it's extremely reasonable now, you also have daily quests and different ways to to reduce your stress limit.

Also just to add before ending my review here, the devs actually seem to care about the game, and what the community thinks, there's been countless bug fixes and suggestions that they've already added into the game, and it hasn't even been 2 weeks yet. They've all been watching the forums obviously very closely and seeing what everybody thinks about the game. +1 For that.

This game is definitely worth trying out, it's free to play so you have nothing to lose. Cya in-game! :)

This is a game I honestly had to reccomend, it is incredibly addicting, fun to play, challenging and very time consuming. The last one may not seem as a positive trait of the game to average player, but do not worry, if you are an average player that is not going for the best items etc. it shouldn't be even half as time consuming as for the more dedicated players. But well it depends on you of course.

Going further into the review, I really have to endorse the combat system, it is one of the most enjoyable combat systems I know, (not the best, but definetely the top), combat both PvM and PvP is very fast paced, action packed, skill based and full of surprieses. The more time you spend with your skills the more you will learn about them. It took me waaay to long to realise that i can control my character in midair during/after many of my attacks.
For the people who dislike the combat in the game, I can only suggest one thing, try another character, maybe this is not your preffered playstyle? Classes do differ considerably when it comes to combat style and strategy you have ot use.
Coming back to the PvP part, Outsider vs Outsider was probably the fastest and most skillbased fight i have ever took part in (And I spend my grand share of time in Jedi Academy and Mount and Blade, to witness what skillbased means).

Another thing I really appreciate about the game are the guild dungeons, that really provide the players with challenge, of course as you grow stronger you will eventually be able to solo the easier Asuras (as the guild dungeons are called), but this will not come easily ;)

The thing I dislike the most about the game is sadly the story telling, story telling in the game is terrible, and especially the first part of ACT 3 was immensly boring. BUT the plot as the whole is good. I am still trying to wrap my head around how can you create a good plotline with bad story telling, but well Nexon sure delivered, especially the second part of ACT4 deserves to be praised. I am really anxious to see what will happen next, the sooner ACT5 is released, the better (but not sooner than it's properly done, please.). When it comes to the world creation, one thing I praise the most, is that we get a lot of mysteries to unreveal later, for example payers knew that there is some characer named Necromancer, for a very long time, but no one had any idea if it's an important character or just some extra untill the ACT 4 was released. I would really like to explain more about this, but really do not want to spoil for the fellow lore-lovers.

There is many, many, MANY things I could also ta about and say how good they were, I also realise that the game has some other problems than bad story telling, but I would probably take months to write to a review about every aspect of this game, it is ust too rich in content for me to write such article.
If you have any questions about the game, please leve them in the comments, I'll do my best to answer your questions.

P.S - This game is NOT pay 2 win, and altohugh paying player can get an adventage over normal one, there is NOTHING that can't be achived without paying, that's right even without spending a single cent on the game you can lay your hands on every single item in game. Paying players do not have better EQ, there is not way in this game to buy EQ, for real money. Cheers :)

Holy @#$% this is an awesome game, keep in mind this review is only with a few hours played. I was an avid DFO player but I love both of these games equally now, but even DFO did not have such a god-awful fatigue system as this.

Gameplay: 8.5/10
Visuals: 9/10 The concept art during the loading screens are even more amazing
While the visuals are not overly amazing they have a beautiful contrast and accent, 3D models on a sidescrolling plain is extremely odd but original and stunning.
Music: 6/10 some of the tracks were amazing enough to make me want to buy them and others, not so much
Story: boobs/10 Seriously, I can't pay attention to any of the storyline while playing my mage (my fellow men know this issue)
boobs: 11/10
Stress system: -39/10
Final verdict: Get rid of the mother f%&$ing stress system you jivey mother #$%@ers

Even though the fatigue system is kind of crappy on this game, I would still like to recommend it to anyone who is interested. I'd like to say "ignore all the other guides imposing that the game is not worth playing solely because of the energy gate" but, I'm afraid I would have every other reviewer here all up in my sh^& about it. If you're interested, try it, don't get turned away by the reviews. For the little time that this game is playable, it is a gem and I would love to encourage more people to discover it.

First impressions give me a feel that is very similar to Final Fantasy games. The artwork and the way characters repeat the same sentence over and over again are reminescent of the Final Fantasy Tactics. You can automate fishing in this game.

Will try to complete the game at level 50 and Act 1 to 4 to add on more stuff.

1. Good Graphics
The character models are very detailed. Their movements can be narrowed down to the smallest detail such as the moving of the arms, turning around, walking up and down. Nice visual effects from the spells. NPCs are drawn with a portrait and come with nice character models. Ambient details such as eagles soaring in the air, goats and rats help to build a believeable environment. Killing a boss renders a slow motion kill just like Street Fighter. Character models are biased towards an all-male audience. [All very minor details]

2. Good Fighting System
Fighting revolves around using the QWERTY, ASDFGH keys for spells and the arrow keys for movement. Simple combos can be executed just be random button mashing.

3. Training Centre
They have a training centre in-game for you to train your PVP/PVE skills

1. Empty
There is no one playing this game. The game is structured so that you will play it solo. It's not an MMORPG. It's just a JRPG. The N key allows for dungeon matching but there is no one to match you with at the low levels.

2. Repetitive questing
Gameplay is centred around going to zones, then entering dungeons, then repeating them 3 times. From Normal->Special->Rare->Unique levels. You will be playing the same zone over and over again before you can move on. It is pretty boring to get stuck at Gnogue Haran for the 1st ten levels of the game.

3. Spelling errors
Precious is spelled "Previous" by the Goblin Sorceror, so "My Previous Monster" does not sound very intimidating. This is a minor issue as you won't read much of the fluff.

4. Storyline
Okay. Each class has a different story and beginning. E.g. Mage was a weak student until demons attacked her school and killed her teacher, causing her to release all her demonic energy in a single instance.. Fighter is a decendant of one of the great heroes who won a great war against the demons from 500 years ago.

Detailed Pros and features:

It's a great game. Starts slow with not many skills at hand but it gets faster in combat gradually by unlocking passives to quickly use another skills to create a combo. The tutorial gives you an idea of how fast the combat could get but against weak enemies which are hardly any challenge nor good practice targets, mostly skills show off. However, on the right of the town you will find a practice doll which takes you to a room and fight it in 7 different levels(Set as PvP battle mode), level 3 for easy, level 5 for normal and level 7 for hard. You can switch the doll between different classes in case you wanted to improve your combat skills against certain class. They will provide you with good and frustrating practice(Hard mode mainly).

Tip: Good way to find working combos is to set the doll as the same class as yours on hard mode and watch what it does to you. Learn from it and apply it, you can't really go wrong with that and you will notice that your combat skills have improved and your combat gets longer than it used to be.

Pro tip: If you are fast enough you could slide mid combo behind the enemy and back attack it.

You could recreate your character inside the game by pressing B to adjust the face/hair/body and coloring them. Previewing avatar sets and coloring them is possible too. Some of these features will require a ticket which can be fished, some amount of money or cash shop ticket. These can be sold or bought on the Auction House.

The avatars can be crafted with some amount of money, materials and possibly level requirement to learn the recipe. The avatars can be bought or sold on the Auction House or could be dropped from the dungeons.

One Major Con:

By far the most annoying thing about this game is the stress condition. You can play very few dungeons per day and that's it. You are stuck at low level too early and have nothing else to do even if you play multiple characters. Seeing as the Arena requires level 30 and you can't get there to start wrecking havoc on players fast enough could push people away from the game without letting them experience what seem to be a major fun part for lots of players.

I have no problem with the stress condition if it lasted longer than how it is now. At least it should be increased by 300%(Even though that wont really be enough). You could get a daily stress drink(called Energized Drink?) from the fishing/potion npc lady but the daily quest only unlocks after you finish the fishing chain quests. Still, that drink only reduce stress condition by 20 which is one/two dungeons I believe?

Let's hope they increase the stress condition because we are people with more than 1 hour in our hands and we don't want to stray into different games if we pick to play this game, it doesn't keep your skills honed! The only stress I'm getting is by this stress condition, otherwise the gameplay reduces my stress condition irl. XD

Exceedingly fun to play on a arcade stick, the combos and abilities work very well with one. There is a "stress system" which limits the amount of dungeons you can do per day which impedes progression but it resets daily, so there is no progression wall that can only be surpased with real money purchases.

-Very fun to play with an arcade stick, less so on keyboard
-limits you on how much you can play or progress per day

Despite the complaints on the stress system, I actually like this game.

The quest successions aka storylines aren't terrible. They're actually alright,
Combat is pretty self explanitory, If you co-ordinate your moves you'll do well.
When you're low on, or plain run out of stress there are other things to do. Work on fishing/collecting/upgrade weapons.\
Asura's dungeons do not use stress.
Playable when drinking

Community in game vs the boards is rather lacking from what I've seen. However visiting on a busier channel can help if you're looking to party up.
Stress system limits gameplay, especially in earlier levels. However it's FTP and they have recently increased the stress system so it's a bit better
Characters are gender based on class, pretty irritating
Store is ridiculously expensive

On a whole? This game actually has potetial, however the player base isn't high enough to utilze what it could do (player based stores, expanded guild stuff, current parties regardless of level). It doesn't help that there are constantly leveling promotions ongoing. While that works for simple things, it does make the current max level of 50 too easy to achieve for some players. This game, I spend more time then I care to admit playing it, however I think the creators could do better. As a FTP, I'd give it a go. It is fun, however I have a feeling that it won't be around for terribly long.

Fun little game that has the feel of a Beat em up with its combat system....however, the game is seriously hampered at the time of writing by the "Stress System"

The Stress system is basically one of those "You can't play anymore" systems that builds up as you run dungeons, hitting cap only takes a few hours and then you are LOCKED OUT of running any more dungeons for 24 hours.

This is clearly one of the Korean Implented systems that they have forgot to remove upon releasing it to the west.

I'm not going thumb down this game as I genuinely think the Stress System was left in by mistake and will likely be removed pretty swiftly.

Give it a try, it's casual fun but if you're looking for something Hardcore, move along and keep looking.

*Edit: They now are testing a 300 Stress system. Personally, I think this is a good move!

This game is a good 8 out of 10. Many will bash it for being a DFO sidepiece. But the game mixes together not only DFO, but Rusty Hearts as well. If you were a fan of DFO and other side-scrollers, then you should feel right at home with this game. I wouldn't listen to the overly negative reviews about this game. Just put an half hour or so aside and try the game out. The only downside that is grinding my gears is the Stress System. After 170 Stress, you can't enter any dungeons and the Stress resets at 6am (9am EST). Once you're Stressed Out (as I like to call it) the only thing you can do is Fish, reinforce your gear, and train your professional skills (which is time consuming and at time, expensive)

+ Good story
+ Pleasing graphics (blood, gore, and boob slider)
+ Lots of loot
- Stress System
- Parties are hard to come by; people tend to party with just friends
- Voice acting is a bit annoying

It only took me my brief period of playtime to tell that this game... Is terrible.

First off, lets talk about the WOMEN in this game. The jiggle physics are downright stupid. In character creation, there was a boob size slider. I didnt think those were terrible things, most games have them these days. Until, i looked at the preset armours. There, in all its glory, sat an "Undergarmets" button. Yes, this did make it so all the girls were in their panties. What fun.

Next, lets talk about graphics. The developers went for an interesting concept; 3D models on a 2D plain; but it simply doesnt work. Half the time i spend missing my spells and attacks, simply because i couldnt tell where i was in relation to the enemy.

Third, lets talk about the controls. Good controls make a big part in games. This game, however, doesnt have them. The movement keys you start out with are the ARROW KEYS, but you can change them, of course. The basic attack key is X. Yes, X. Also, there is NO POSSIBLE WAY to change the attack key to click. Before i found out the arrow keys, i thought maybe that was because click was move and the developers mightve thought that would be a bad setup (Its not). But then, SURPRISE SURPRISE, I can only move with the mouse at CERTAIN areas. What the ♥♥♥♥ reason they put that in for i will never know.

Also, the game doesnt throw it in your face, but it is RIDDLED with total rip-off mico-transactions.

All in all, i give this stupid, steaming pile a 0/5.
