It's a decent mechanic I suppose, but once you see how to solve a level, it becomes a tedious process of guessing just which angle and how much force you need to launch yourself with. I got fed up with it around the end of the third chapter, and I won't be continuing.

Gravity Badgers is Angry Birds Space without the pigs.

No, really. If you were to replace the license and swap toppling towers of blocks with flying into wormholes the two games would be near indiscernible, except one would be an oddly warped mobile classic and the other a bland, arguably broken clone.

I don't actually take a huge offense that Gravity Badgers has more or less ripped all its components clean out of another game. It's that they've turned it into such a lifeless, frustrating husk of what it once was that makes it so irredeemable. Its rules of gravity are blurry and inconsistent, its camera clumsy, and its scoring system unnecessarily punishing to a degree that makes no sense outside of causing even more tedium as players are forced to open menus and restart levels because of a dumb penalty.

The bottom line is its not fun. It's an almost entirely worthless copy of a better game, with only enough charm to showcase how lifeless the rest of the experience is, and so many aggravating problems that only further cement the fact that this was a hastily developed product pushed out the door before anyone realized how much was wrong (or couldn't be bothered to fix it).

Wanna make a bad game? The Unity engine heard your call and is here to help!

This one features a painful main menu where every time you navigate out of a menu, the background music restarts. Needless to say it's not a very jolly experience.

It feels a lot like the developers were trying to create a generic mobile phone Angry Birds clone, chose badgers as their cute mascots of the month, and then failed really hard at implementing the required object physics and thus ended up with a simple puzzle game.

I guess on the plus side, it has badgers, and completing the tutorial gets you all fat and blobous.

Trying to make your mediocre game more relevant? Why not add badgers?

Gravity Badgers tries to copy & paste the success of Angry Birds Space but fails in every aspect. The levels are just too similar, there is no added value in the different badger characters (they all play the same) and the excitement of the falling blocks physics is completely missing.

What it boils down to is, you try to get the one perfect shot that gets you all three glowing orbs and restart the level many, many times, making micro adjustments until you get it just right. And that is not a lot of fun.
