Soul Axiom - A Thrilling Sci-Fi Adventure Game from the Creators of Master Reboot.

We've had to delay release of the early access version of Soul Axiom until December 1st. This is down to a couple of factors, firstly the Halloween Sale and secondly, the abundance of game releases over the coming weeks both impacting our visibility on the Steam store.

We're pleased to say that the game is looking great and this gives us some extra time to add that added polish and extra content to the Early Access version.

“I’d gladly recommend the game to fans of physics based games as this one is well done for a game that only costs $4.99”

El juego es bastante aburrido. Lo compré porque venía con un bundle con mejores juegos. He jugado como 1 hora y los primeros 10 minutos se me han hecho interminables. Mala señal

rage inducing game, play for your own risk, you might get brainbleeding. Also, terribly tested, in windowed mode some levels impossible to finish, moves not predictable and some levels just impossible to do for 3 stars, like 4th boss, the 3rd heart phase just impossible without deaths. Games should be entertaining, most of them fulfill that, this not, you will rage too much. Not worth the health risk.

Very similar to angry birds. Think badger family in space. It's all about the gravity and your propulsion jets. Good, but not really original. Get it cheep.

The developers clearly tried their best to make a good game. It looks nice, the music is ok, the art is good, and the puzzles make sense... unfortunately it just isn't fun. Too easy and dreadfully, sleep-inducingly, boring.

Bought it because I'm a badger
Good game, people say it's like Angry Birds, but it is not, it is a little bit more complex.
Story is lame. Music is lame. Graphics are quite good (Looks like a flash game tho)
It helps you relax.
And then rage because this game is either Fable III difficulty or Dark Souls difficulty. There's no point in between
Boss fights are a good way to shake off the repetitive gameplay.
Give it a shot if you can't find any other game to waste your money on (Must buy in discount)

8/10 would play on my phone
6.5/10 would play on pc

It's hard to enjoy this game. There are rooms for improvement but there's none so far.
Most of the flaws / dislikes have been said by others in the game's discussion page.
Do check it out before you buy this.
Get this if you want trading cards and 100% achievement. The achievements take times but still possible to complete. Of course, that is if you have the patience for it.

Gravity Badgers uses properties of gravity and repulsion to move a tiny badger around and thru obstacles toward a spiralling black hole. Enjoyable little game, pick it up on sale. 5/10

Simple iPad game where you Angry Birds-style flick a badger towards a goal post, avoiding obstacles and picking up yellow circles. Earlier levels are universally solved by flicking your badger (hehehe) toward the nearest yellow circle and watching as the level completes itself. Later levels involve you doing this but requiring pixel-perfect accuracy with regards to trajectory and launch strength.

Tedious, not very fun. The music is also awful.

A real shame, because the concept art is amazing!

To be clear, I might recommend this game as a mobile game, since it could be a decent way to pass the time on a commute, for instance. As a PC game, though, it leaves much to be desired, like longevity and complex gameplay - the gameplay it does have consists entirely of clicking and dragging to specify direction and thrust for flight paths. Plus, on some levels, finding exactly the right vector needed to win can grow tedious.

(Having never played Angry Birds, I can't compare.)

If you liked Angry Birds but found that the aspect of smashing things made it too exciting, then this coma-inducing clone might be up your alley. Gravity Badgers is very literally a version of Angry Birds Space where instead of smashing through structures to pop pigs, you merely need to slingshot from point A to point B. Obstacles and the gravity fields of planets scattered throughout the levels complicate the task, but the same banal trial and error flinging that got you through Angry Birds will get you through Gravity Badgers. If your brain injuries are somehow so severe that you can't handle this menial objective, the game actually allows you to skip the level you're on, provided you're willing to wait long enough for the meter that allows you to perform this function to recharge. To its credit, Gravity Badgers has a ton of levels, but you'll get bored long before you've seen all of the samey content the game has to offer.

Gravity Badgers is Angry Birds Space without the pigs.

No, really. If you were to replace the license and swap toppling towers of blocks with flying into wormholes the two games would be near indiscernible, except one would be an oddly warped mobile classic and the other a bland, arguably broken clone.

I don't actually take a huge offense that Gravity Badgers has more or less ripped all its components clean out of another game. It's that they've turned it into such a lifeless, frustrating husk of what it once was that makes it so irredeemable. Its rules of gravity are blurry and inconsistent, its camera clumsy, and its scoring system unnecessarily punishing to a degree that makes no sense outside of causing even more tedium as players are forced to open menus and restart levels because of a dumb penalty.

The bottom line is its not fun. It's an almost entirely worthless copy of a better game, with only enough charm to showcase how lifeless the rest of the experience is, and so many aggravating problems that only further cement the fact that this was a hastily developed product pushed out the door before anyone realized how much was wrong (or couldn't be bothered to fix it).

Trying to make your mediocre game more relevant? Why not add badgers?

Gravity Badgers tries to copy & paste the success of Angry Birds Space but fails in every aspect. The levels are just too similar, there is no added value in the different badger characters (they all play the same) and the excitement of the falling blocks physics is completely missing.

What it boils down to is, you try to get the one perfect shot that gets you all three glowing orbs and restart the level many, many times, making micro adjustments until you get it just right. And that is not a lot of fun.

It feels weird doing this for a game which I've actually gone through and completely beaten/gotten 100% of the achievements for, but I can't really recommend Gravity Badgers.

Gravity Badgers is a simple puzzle game where you choose initial direction and velocity of your character, and then their trajectory will change based off of the type of planets you're near (some attracting, some repelling). You're attempting to direct your character to a warp at the end of the level, optionally picking up 3 items along the way.

It's very simple, and I suppose accomplishes that initial goal well enough, but in a lot of ways it just felt lacking. The character graphics are very static - at times feeling like it's a cut out sheet of a character moving around, but without the graphic design to make it seem like that. A large majority of the levels are actually VERY easy, with a few levels that are extremely finicky - there doesn't seem to be much of a middle ground for a pleasing challenge. And finally, there's boss levels, where your character starts shooting lasers at an enemy while they're going at you, and which has pretty much nothing mechanically which relates to the rest of the game. They feel weird, very out of place, and don't really "work."

This is very obviously a budget phone/tablet game, and probably better suited to that medium. If these sorts of games appeal to you, sure, go ahead and pick it up - it's competent enough in its own right, aside from minor other technical issues (a little bit of sloppy edge detection for some of the hazards, primarily), but ultimately the game is pretty rough around its edges. It worked well enough for a mindless distraction while I was also doing another activity (TV, work, etc), but there's not a whole lot there, and I doubt most people would enjoy it.
