Totallly great. 9/10
Pros:
Great tactial shooter with full control of squad's sight
Weapon damage is realistic, no Roshan-like enemies.
Decent graphic, can run smoothly on my crappy laptop with intel HD 4000 graphic card, no lag found
Weapon customization is fun
Skill points won't affect gameplay a lot, that's make each stage beatable with correct tactic
A dozen of maps avaliable
Most importantly, it's in humble bundle (BTA)
Cons:
No story mode
No mutilplayer
No armor painting
No women (LOL

Breach & Clear is a tactical turn-based squad strategy game. At the beginning it is pretty easy, but on the hard difficulty its a real challange and needs good strategy. The grafics are not the best, but they are good enoth for a game like this. You can completely design your own squad. From their Skills to their weaponcolor/Cloth/Weapons. I would really recommend this game and if you wanna complete all the challanges with 4 stars than you will have to investiage a ton of hours in it ;()

The missions and leveling up your soldiers is really fun but the games feels like it just needs more content. Maybe some more perks for soldiers and a lot more missions.

A well done tactical game. Entertaining for hours. Price tag is high however. Get it off the humble bundle :)

How anybody would compare this to X-Com is beyond me.
Yes, both are turn-based strategy games, but they play vastly different.
For example, in Breach & Clear you plan a turn and then everybody executes these moves at the same time.
That's not a bad thing, however. It's always nice to see some varitey in the genre, and only few games handle tehir turns the way B&C does.

Hoewever, another aspect where I don't see how you could compare this to X-Com is the challenge.

In B&C most missions are either too easy or too hard.
If a mission is too easy, you simply ignore all the little intricacies the game has to offer, so for example you rarely if ever set waypoints or plan your men's field of view. Instead, you just charge in, gunning down every enemy on the way.
If a mission is too hard, this can sometimes be the game's fault, when teh random generator for example places one of your men right in a room with four foes nearby.

I still had fun with the game, but overall I can't recommend it wholeheartedly. There are just too many good (and better) strategy games out there.

If you, like me, are a fan of the genre (tactical turn-based squad strategy games) then this is definitely a gem!
Similar games: SWAT 2, Jagged Alliance, XCom-series, Deadline, Door Kickers, Arma Tactics

However! In comparison to most of them, this game lacks alot of complexity, depth, the missions in this game are quite small. It is rather a small game focused on the encounters, plan your attack and execute it.

The tutorial was very easy to understand, the game interface is simple and intuitive.
The sheer amount of equipment available makes it interesting to replay missions, being able to try new tactics to finish them.

Graphics are quite nice.
Sound/music is good.
Character customization feels adequate.
Good weapon customizations.

I understand that the game is converted from mobile, which seems like a good job, however some more hotkeys would be lovely.

(Check my profile for screenshots)

Reminds me in a good way of classics like SWAT 2.

Finally someone who is able to revive the genre! This game coupled with Door Kickers are the only hope left.
