How anybody would compare this to X-Com is beyond me.
Yes, both are turn-based strategy games, but they play vastly different.
For example, in Breach & Clear you plan a turn and then everybody executes these moves at the same time.
That's not a bad thing, however. It's always nice to see some varitey in the genre, and only few games handle tehir turns the way B&C does.
Hoewever, another aspect where I don't see how you could compare this to X-Com is the challenge.
In B&C most missions are either too easy or too hard.
If a mission is too easy, you simply ignore all the little intricacies the game has to offer, so for example you rarely if ever set waypoints or plan your men's field of view. Instead, you just charge in, gunning down every enemy on the way.
If a mission is too hard, this can sometimes be the game's fault, when teh random generator for example places one of your men right in a room with four foes nearby.
I still had fun with the game, but overall I can't recommend it wholeheartedly. There are just too many good (and better) strategy games out there.
