Lyne is a 2d Puzzle game that involves you connecting shapes to each other.

Lyne is a simple fun game that you can spend about 10 minutes a day playing and slowly progressing through. If however you are like me and you play games for long periods of time, you will start to hate this game. It becomes pretty frustrating when you can’t figure something out and you just want it to end. It presents itself nicely and allows you the option to change the pallet of the game, customizing it to how you like the visuals. This can make it easier on the eyes at points especially if you are playing at night.

I feel like if I had played this differently I would give this a better score. The problem I think this game has it that it is overly long. If it had been only about 10 stages long, I think it would be better. Apart from that this game is fun. It just overstays its welcome a bit. 5/10.

A simple, yet stylish way to enhance your profile

TL;DR:
An exceptional puzzle game that has the right difficulty curve, addictive gameplay and a amazing minimalist design. To put the icing on the cake it has easy achievements which can be used to spell what you'd like using the achievement showcase. You also get 3/5 card drops for playing.

Review:
LYNE has hours of relaxing content with 650 puzzles to solve and the additon of 50 daily puzzles. Not to mention that it also has a soothing, dynamic sound track which works well with the simplistic visuals. The objective of LYNE is simple; Try to connect A to B without intersecting the other lines and fulfilling the requirements to complete the level. After completing all the levels in a set, you will unlock an achievement plus another set. After a while you will also unlock different colour palettes as an added bonus for completing sets. The puzzles start to get harder as you continue through the game as the puzzles are more complex and new mechanics are introduced, however the game does get repetitve at times, despite the difficulty curve.

To sum it up, this is a great game to kill some time or to play whilst watching something. It's pretty cheap too, and you can find a 50% off coupon somewhere, but is well worth the full price in my opinion.

If you like my review, any feedback is appreciated and if you would like to see more reviews from me in the future, feel free to follow me!

There's not much to say about LYNE. A very straightforward and self-explanatory puzzle game, whose minimalistic visual and audio design is appropriate for relaxing late-night gaming sessions, when all the terrorists are dead and you've run out of zombies to slice. The first few sets will teach you how to play, then the ever-increasing difficulty and complexity will provide a nice challenge for you to tackle at your own pace. Solving the more advanced sets is extremely satisfying, as you will often be required to experiment, think outside the box and come up with new solutions that you hadn't envisioned before. The 26 base sets are nicely complemented by daily challenges of varying difficulty, perfect for a break between harder puzzles or just to keep enjoying the game after you've finished it. A must have.

LYNE is a cheap and well-made logic puzzle game that becomes progressively more difficult as you continue playing. It’s one of easy to play yet hard to master type games we've all heard about. If you like puzzle games, then go ahead and get this. Its price isn't too bad for what it's worth in my humble opinion.

Oh wow, my senses are saying I stumped on a really good game! Is that true? Let's find out!

LYNE is a 2D game about connecting squares and... that's it lol. What you saw on the trailer was just what the game is. There isn't really much to it. Well, there is really much to it actually.

You see, the game is really simple, but not that easy. You see, some levels are really tough and sometimes only with the help of a walkthrough to get past them D:

But even if you're not into this kind of game you should consider buying! It's cheap, it's inifnite and contains a dozen of base puzzles.
Basically, each set puzzle you complete gives you an achievement that is a letter, and it goes from A to Z. And that is really useful if you want to customize your steam profile! The game also have a 5 cards badge (if you're into leveling up a lot this is for you)
What else should I say? Let's get to the pros and cons:

Pros:
-Runs on any computer that can run notepad
-Minimalist
-Cheap
-Achievements
-Trading Cards (5 Badge card, useful for leveling up)
-Inifnite:
You may think: "no workshop support meh not buying it", but well the game got this thing called "daily puzzles" that basically are random puzzles made avaible each day (changes every day), which makes the game infinite.
Completing daily puzzles give you triangles, and the more triangles you have the more backgrounds you unlock (in game) to customize your experience. Pretty neat
-Loads of puzzles! You got the entire alphabet as a set! Which leads me to...
-VERY rewarding
Completing daily puzzles gives you backgrounds to play the game with, and each set you complete of the main campaign will give you a letter of the alphabet as an achievement. Which is really awesome, since you can use these letters to customize your steam profile as your will.
-Progressive difficulty on the main campaign

Neutral:

-Tough difficulty, that's either a good or bad thing depending which person you are
-If you want to put the Z letter on your profile you're gonna have a bad time!

Cons:

-No workshop support, is not that bad since we got daily puzzles
-Can't smell the 60fps

Overall, it's a really awesome game if you're into puzzles and you should definitely check it out.

This game is everything written on the box. It's a puzzler with a concept that sounds relatively simple at first - just connect a line of shapes from beginning to end - but the more you play, the more the game throws at you, the more shapes you have to connect, and the more crossroads you're given, until this once simple game curiously grows difficult enough for you to have wrack your brain around everything you know just to solve a single puzzle. It's an eventually infuriating but ultimately satisfying experience to be able to complete.

The music, as stated, is also intentially calming. The background pads drone as each connection is audibly accentuated with a soft syntheized pop. It's minimal, but that's the point, and it's destressing enough to make up for those moments where you can't seem to make the right connection. Think of the game Flow Free turned up to eleven and a soundtrack turned down to "chill out" and you have a game I would recommend to any fan of puzzle games.
