A minimalistic puzzle game with a simple design paired with progressing difficulty, makes LYNE a great time-waster, and head scratcher.

My grandma always disliked how I spend most of my time playing video games. After I introduced her to LYNE, I never get to use my PC as my grandma is always trying to grind the first few levels. Thanks Thomas Bowker!

These are the reasons why I bought the game and clicked the yes button. (1) Who does not love indie games? (2) And of course who does not love games that are on sale? The game was on sale! (3) Lyne's graphics is an eye-candy and (4) the achievements are worth it, if you know what I mean.

Don't mind my negative review, that's only my opinion, and I would perfectly understand that other people would precisely recommend it for what I didn't enjoy myself.

The main reason why I couldn't recommend LYNE, is because I bought it at full price, and would have expected a bit more variety in its gameplay. Apart from the multi-nodes, it's always the same idea, and there's no new mechanic involved further on.

Sure, there's a lot of hand-crafted levels, which is usually a good point in puzzle games, but for LYNE, it felt like it was a bit too much. It seems like you're always trying to solve the same level over and over on the long run, and I even noticed some of them being exactly the same, except rotated in a different manner.

Now, I'm not saying LYNE isn't worth it. If you're just looking for a puzzle game to kill some time, without being afraid of the "assembly-line work" feeling of it, then just go ! The minimalistic art style is fantastic, and you can even chose your colour palette, which I appreciated a lot.

If I was to be honnest, I don't think that game is that interesting on a computer, you might prefer playing LYNE on your phone/tablet whenever you feel like it.

If you expect diversity, this might not be for you, but it remains a nice little puzzler overall !

A minimalistic puzzler with a simple concept but ramps up the difficulty as you progress. A great time-consumer and the large-scale layout can easily be played on the TV screen from a distance, making it extra relaxing due to the sofa factor.
