Amazingly fun if you are into PvP. The Wu Shu styles are the "classes", each with obvious pro's and con's when it comes to PvP against the other schools, otherwise no one school seems OP. No holy trinity, and only recently have they added a school that can heal others.

Land is limited, so join a clan and engage in clan warfare, damaging thier clan's base so that resources have to be spent on repairs instead of growth. Open world PvP, but not full loot.

Only problems I have with the game is that, while it is F2P, you will levle you school abilities much faster if you pay real money. Otherwise, it takes quite a bit of in-game time doing group meditation. Also, can only make 1 cahracter per account. Had to make multiple accounts to try other schools without deleting any current characters. Other than that, loved it!

Pros : One of the most beautifully rendered and visually stunning games Ive ever had the pleasure of playing. Unique and engaging crafting system and player economy system. Easy to level with challenging quests, side quests and minigames. Unique and innovative combat and character skills systems. Ability to purchase in game content that aids in raising skills or earn similar content with your own in game time and effort.

Cons : The game is a little complicated to learn to begin with. One cannot simply dive in and understand the systems without going through the tutorials and I highly recomend reading the wiki and watching the tutorial videos that are available. The open pvp system is really kind of a let down for me, it encourages targeting of new and lower level characters by those who have higher levels and for my tastes really hurts the new players over all experience. While I applaud the ability to earn decent equipment and skills through time and effort. I still find that the real game perks lean toward those who pay for the vip status. Not so much that I would call it an outright pay to win game but enough to hinder some of the gameplay for me and make leveling a bit of grind.

Over all I love the game. There is still a lot for me to learn about it and the team is developing new content and recently brought a new server online as well. If you love adventure RPG's and dont mind taking the time to learn the new and innovative systems then AoW is definately worth trying.

This is an amazingly indepth game with a heavy focus on open world skill based pvp. you can choose out of 7-8 martial art schools who constantly wage war on each other in weekly school wars. there is so much to do an explore in this game i recommend this to anyone whos looking for a good mmo that you can sink hours into! 14/10

waste of time. not a free to play game. Without paying for the VIP status you can't play all the story lines plus your equipment is only half as good. Would recommend playing age of wulin over at webzen, since it is the same game.

The game looks great and the Kung Fu element is there HOWEVER its quite difficult to figure out what is what once you have it. The game also puts a MASSIVE push on buying a membership, buying skills, buying speed-ups, buying gear. Get the picture yet? Also i keep hearing about some old promise from the dev's about there being no "buy to win"? So much for that. Unless your ready to break out your wallet and bring alot of friends too it would be best to avoid this game.

*Game might be cool further in but your forced to team up to progress...*

This game is a solid waste of time. If you are lonely and if your only friends are NPCs, then you will love this game because there are a crap load of them walking around. Obviously, for no apparent reason. You can't even buy a bag from an NPC, you have to find a player who is a tailor to do so. They don't even have levels! Are you kidding me? No quests asked me to fight mobs, all I did was carry stupid messages from one NPC to the other. It's like a virtual training if you want to work for UPS, USPS or FedEx. Autopath takes so much time, I wrote a research paper and my character was still travelling to an NPC. Of course my character was delivering a random unnecessary message. If you think women are difficult to understand, try understanding the stupid meridians this game has. I wouldn't even enjoy this game if I were high on acid.

I want to start by saying this is an MMO and will be updated often. This review will not cover fixes or improvements that
will be patched in later. Ignore the playtime listed on steam as I bought this when it was first released (even bought the
collectors edition!) Since I had so many points I wanted to cover, I'm just going to use a list format to make this quick
and easy.

1)The english translation is horrid. This can make playing the game way harder then needed at times.
2)The US tech team is a joke. No matter how small the issue, it can take WEEKS to be resolved. Accounts get suspended and
frozen for unknown reasons.
3)Bots. Are. Everywhere. I logged in for several hours a few nights ago and I couldn't tell any difference from launch.
I'm not sure how or even if they are addressing them, but seeing 30 bots (I actually counted) in one area spaming is
awful. Also bots are used to harvest 24/7 so that just ruins the ingame economy.
4)I have never had so many issues trying to subscribe (or in this case buying ingame currency used to buy a sub). I had
two accounts for me and my wife. It denied our credit card AND our debit card. I ended up having to make a paypal account
JUST to buy from them. Then after one use the paypal would no longer work.
5)To be honest the game is very shallow. It's focus is so much on this open pvp dream that outside of that there isn't
much to do. Not to mention the population has been on a downward decline for awhile. It should be noted that a new server
was recently opened so that might help.

Overall this just seems like a second rate attempt to bring this over to the english countries. There is so much potential
here that it's heart breaking to see it in it's current state. Of all the MMOs I have played, (going all the way back to
Ultima Online), this one was the most disappointing to me personally. I really wanted this game to be a hit but it's just
not meant to be.
