It has been a struggle keeping pace with the development plans while at the same time juggling with all the other responsibilities the campaign demanded, but we made it and it was worth it. Not only did we manage to gather the needed financial resources, but the interest you have shown us so far has pushed us to actually finish more then initially planned so that we can show you more of the actual gameplay. But the campaign isn't over and there is so much more that can be done.
So what now?
There is 24h more to go, and we haven't given up on our stretch goals. Any money that we receive beyond the initial goal will be going towards the development of "Improved Survival". Even if we don't manage to reach the official stretch goal, we will use the resources at our disposal to make as much of it as possible.
What we probably miss the most at this moment is multiplayer. A lot of people are disappointed by the fact that we are planning to release the game with local coop multiplayer only. It has been a tough decision to go for a game with no network multiplayer after making a successful multiplayer focused game, but unfortunately it was the right one. We want to deliver games done right, and we would never manage to make a full multiplayer supporting game with the resources we had at our disposal.
Since it's something we really want to do, we have added multiplayer as our third and most ambitious stretch goal. If we manage to reach it, a full network multiplayer mode will be added to the game some time after the release.
