Good enough little DLC, I would not pay to much for it though as its only about 8 very short missions and the world for this is 1 small city and about 9 islands with 1-4 hidden objects. Overall missions are very simple e.g follow someone, assasinate someone, sink a boat and dont require any skill or real effort. DLC is set after the base game following your quartermaster as he works for the brotherhood. maybe get it on sale, otherwise its not worth its current price tag of $20.

Warning: don't expect it to be massive. The map is terribly small, and the story is very boring. The game is good, two new weapons which make it cool. Ship battles seem pointless, and so does exploring. This game has very little replay value. I don't recommend full price for it but do what you want.

It really depends on the price, if you can get it for a few dollars then get it, but the overall content of this DKC is really thin.

Good DLC for black flag introduces new concepts like freeing slaves and you only have one melee weapon and a single blunderbuss as opposed to 2-4 pistols fr0om the normal game. It is very similar only the upgrade system is different you free slaves to get upgrades and you have the rope darts and the blow gun from the beginning of the game. You get all your weapons fairly early on in the game, has much of the same seafaring stuff as the original game but everything is much smaller like for example there is only one ship ram upgrade and only about 5 versions of the blunderbuss.

I think this DLC is well worth it. Maybe 10€ is a bit steep, especially since Black Flag is 20€ and is waaaay bigger but if you wait for it to get on sale you can probably get it for about 4,99€ like I did. If you liked Black Flag this will give you a few more hours of the same beautiful scenary, nice naval battles and a nice change to the pirate plot with this story about slavery.

I recommend it.

First of all, it is great that this DLC is currently $5, it is tons of fun. At first the DLC wouldn't work for me but then I realized all I had to do was copy the CD Key, go to UPlay, and redeem it there. Playing as Adewale put a whole new perspective into the game, after playing as a pirate who did everything for the money, we go to a character who is just they opposite, does his assassinations for princeiple and the well being of the slaves.

Game contains strong statement against slavery.
Uses slaves as currency for upgrades.

11/10 would kill white devils again

Although Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag is by far my fav. so far (didn't play rouge or unity), and although Edward Kenway's is my favorite assassin (or Ezio) this DLC was way worth it!

The slavery theme is really well explored, and this is what Liberation (the worst ever) should have felt like!

Highly recommend 5 hours of gameplay!
