This is a game that is causing a bit of contraversy,"ITS A FLASH GAME" and so it may be but another little game about a certain little boy who gets thrown down into the cellar is also-and it hasent stopped that being a really big seller and a really well received and loved game.
Anyway back to the review,i really like this game and i will tell you why A-its addictive and B-its actually very challenging.
The graphics are ok,the sounds ok and everything in the game is ok-but thats not what games are about (or they didnt used to be back in the day when graphics were blockey and sounds used to blib and blob) they are about fun and the challenge of learning a game inside out.
This game does not do what a lot of other games are guilty of "HAND HOLDING",you start as the american solider and get dropped in at the deep end and thats exactally what it is,doesnt tell you what to do just sets you of out after defending the base for the first night. You will eventually end up with 3 different characters and beleive me each has their own strenghs and weakneses (when you upgrade their weapons each one comes into their own in different ways) and trying to keep them all alive is one hell of a hard job as the game just gets harder and harder.
After a few nights you really do start to struggle to defend the base and yourselves if you havent made the right choices in what to upgrade either be it gear, guns, defensive wall ect.Of course all this costs scrap and you get this by wandering around outside the base in one of the other locations on offer, now some scrap lies there waiting to be picked up but some you get from shooting crates or by turning vehicles like tanks and jeeps into scrap (now you just push one button to do this and hold it in-but you must also defend yourself whilst you do this).Collecting the scrap you return to base before darkness falls (and beleive me thats where you are at you best defence wise-oh dear try a few nights outside the base and see what i mean).
Then like i have said the game shows its true light, you will play through a few times until you survive even 15 nights of the expected 30 to get out to the helicopter-and thats what its all about learning to play the game LITERRALLY.
You will sink or swim by the choices you make and thats good (sort of reminds me of a lot of good games where you learn from your mistakes and get better on every playthrough).
Eventully you will make it and then that will be it,and for me that is the worst thing about the game as i dont think i would play through it much after i have escaped and beaten the 30 DEADLY NIGHTS,and thats ok as i will certainly have some fun on my way to getting out ALIVE (with all three characters OH YEAH AS IF HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)

Deadly 30 is a delightful throwback to the older side scrolling games, when gaming was simple and yet so freaking addictive. An interesting indie cocktail that blends elements of Left 4 Dead, Metal Slug and Tower Defense. With better partner AI, more stages and less technical issues this could be a sleeper hit. For a side scrolling game, there are some nifty environments, they are just aesthetic and other than the general looks, just seem to serve the purpose of changing the scenery.Deadly 30 is one of those games that frustrates me, but it's not necessarily the game's fault. I was questionable about how meshing three genres together would work, and the result isn't that bad of a game, as long as you know what you're doing from day to day. Deadly 30 is the perfect retro game to unwind with after a long day, when you just want to shoot crap and defend your base.

Easy little flash game theming zombie survival... in 2d mix of side-scrolling shooter and tower defence.

Thumbs up things:
- It is short, have steam cards and achievements to unlock.
- Includes some humor, basic one, if you know what I mean.
- Runs on very low-grade computers, so you can play it while sitting in the office.

Thumbs down things:
- It's not much of side-scroll shooter as there are only 5 short locations. It's not much of tower defence either, 'cause lack of resources to build up really automated defence.
- Game is fast, but controls aren't. I felt quite clumsy both in fighting and building fences.
- Zombie theme and flash games... for some folks it's "instant "NO!" and I can't blame them...

Overall - you may buy it for 1$ or in bundle, but only if you want easy achievement stats on steam. The game itself is pretty dull. 6/10

Many had heard about the game in his time, reached her only recently....and well that got

http://youtu.be/vUvfKtt7m0k

The most talked about the cruel hardcorest games. And it's true, She is ruthless.
The animation is nice and unobtrusive, sometimes pretentious funny.
By itself, the game is a 2D platformer with survival and containment of the waves. Who know Don't Starve, he will immediately ovladet parallel. The essence of the game is simple and intelligible. We Military world war II (as of early American), it is unknown what happened, but began zombieapocalypse that hooked war of all Nations. The game is reduced to the retention base and maintain its vitality (generator, that was the light; bed, shop, barricades). All you need to repair, build and add. Cartridges seems that a lot, but believe me, they will end you on the first night, so they have to buy a lot and often. Added facilities for defence, buy new armor and guns. The most important thing is to survive the night, when the zombies attack on the base, then the morning, evening.....looking for resources as a zombie is not particularly active. The farther and more zombies and the farther we must move away from base to Supplement the resources that we build and buy. BUT remember to return it before dark, or to the database you are alive you will not reach.
On the First day all easy, but the second night is already fierce nightmare. In Fact the game has hooked me into this respect it and Don't Starve. As shown sensor time of day and just have to hurry and around like a squirrel in a wheel, clearly setting priorities and not try to go far. Just need to find tanks and cars to disassemble them is the biggest source of resources.

Many different guns and as I understand the new characters, including Russians and Germans.

I will not dwell on the pros and cons of the game (such as graphics, gameplay, etc.), but I will say one thing, play really, it is inexpensive. Now very few hardcore games and this game is one of the few. Addictive.

The game is fun. Great laser guns for headshots and Turrets for your base. I am not that fond of side scrolling games, but I found this game to be very good.
I may like the game, but do not like the artist who created the work. Gonzossm would be his Youtube name.
I do not care if anyone agrees with me, but Gonzossm is a ♥♥♥♥ with a capitol C.
I may sound harsh, but If I created some of the work he does and used it in a game it would not be admissable and deemed racists on Steam, but I guess the Developers didn't care about his views and just wanted the job done.
To Gonzossm, if you read this.. EAT SH!t.

I think overall this is a pretty fun flash game, definitely a good "spur of the moment oh this one's really cheap so why not" buy. You have a base to defend yourself in, but during the day you can explore the area around you to find scrap metal (currency) and survivors, and the areas change each day so it's an interesting feature. My only complaints are the inexplicable lack of multiplayer and the fact that instead of being able to choose your class right off the bat, as you play the game you can find survivors and magically switch between them. Which is... I dunno, just really weird. But again, it's a good 3 dollar buy, if you think you'll like it you probably will. It gets really difficult really fast, so it does take a while to beat. Luckily it saves after every night, so i f you make one big mistake you don't have to go back to the beginning. Also, the soundtrack is really well done, so that's a plus.

I think a sequel will definitely be worth investing in, and if they create multiplayer for this it would be a very fun experience and worth the money. Keeping in mind this was a two man team making a game for $5, I think it's worth supporting, and I would like to see what they can create in the future.
