About This Game

Turbo Dismount is a kinetic tragedy about Mr. Dismount and the cars who love him. It is the official sequel to the wildly popular and immensely successful personal impact simulator - Stair Dismount.

The highlights of this experience are multiple vehicles, an awesome replay system, level editing features, high-speed physics and an indiscriminate sense of style.

The purpose of the game is simple - damage awards points. It is up to you to try different combinations of obstacles, vehicles, poses and levels to make it to the top of the leaderboards. To support friendly rivalry, Turbo Dismount supports placing a photo of your friend on the face of Mr. Dismount - such a delightful way to express one's emotions!

This game is INSANE amounts of hilarity! Think of it as a 3D Happy Wheels, except without the overabundance of effortless, repetitive user-made levels. Throw in all sorts of gags and non-graphic violence, and you've sealed the deal.

I highly recommend this game if you've grown rather tired of Happy Wheels, and need a breath of fresh air.

Very simular to their mobile titles with more added features, a nice range of customisation and a large selection of levels.. Oh and the added Workshop makes the level count unlimited I guess.

Highly suggest you get this game, especially if it's on sale. Well worth it!

Fun game to screw around in. In short bursts.

Pros
  • Steam Workshop. Play other peoples levels.
  • Graphically it's actually pretty nice.
  • Plaster your friends faces on the character then smash him into a wall! :D
  • No learning curve, pick up and play.
  • Great physics

  • Runs well on a crappy laptop. It will most likely run on anything, other than toasters.

  • It's just another pick up and mess around for a bit game.

    Cons
    • After playing it for awhile. You'll most likely forget about it and never play it again.
    • It can lag terribly when there's alot of pieces.
    • There just isn't that much to do.

    Final score: 59/100

Who knew sending Nicolas Cage into oncoming traffic on a tricycle could be so relaxing?

Turbo Dismount offers a lot for it's 10$ price. It offers a wealth of vehicles to choose from, a massive set of obstacles to play around, different characters, poses and camera angles to play around with on a set of levels, some can be played for hours whilst others get boring fast. Steam Workshop allows you to download user made levels and it's cool to see just how creative people are being with it.

The visual style is basic but offers satisfyingly crunchy sound design for destruction and dismemberment. You have no real control over your car, you simply set the speed and watch it go (however there ais also levels with steering which honestly is quite hard to control) which many people complain about but I personally really like. It gives the game a fun relaxed feel when you don't have to think about where you're going, instead you can just sit back, relax and watch the carnage.

There's also customization which allows you to change the head of your character and the logo of your vehicle which has proven to be absolutely hilarious.

Overall I would recommend Turbo Dismount. A fun little timewaster to turn on for a bit and cause havoc in. I will say however that it's not for everyone and I can see people getting bored with it rather quickly.

Pretty good game if you're into ragdoll physics, collisions, and mild dosages of funk.
Definitely worth the $5, but it would be even better with some form of multiplayer.

Game in a nutshell: You take a dummy, put him in a car, set up obstacles, launch the car, and ♥♥♥♥ happens.

Perfect.

Turbo Dismount is a game where the little guy falls out of the car and then the car runs him over. Turbo Dismount is where the little guy pedals his tricycle off of a cliff and down five stories onto landmines which launch him up into the air. Turbo Dismount is where the little guy does a loop-de-loop on a section of road and drives straight into a patch of landmines at top speed, making him and his car explode rather spectacularly. Turbo Dismount is where a guy gets into a drag race and finishes it by plowing his car into a wall.

I could tell you about a hundred of these stories, but it's basically a guy, a car, and a set of circumstances in which you have to figure out how to inflict maximum pain on the guy, and the punchline involves grevious bodily harm.

It's a joke you can re-experience and re-tool over and over, but the punchline itself starts to get stale around four hours after you've played out all the variations of "What happens when an (adjective) (character) in a (type of car) drives into a (insert hazard here)?". It's a bit like Mad Libs, but with physics and objects.

I don't see myself playing this again anytime soon, but the time I did spend with it was hilarious, and there's a level based off of the Springfield Gorge scene from an early Simpsons episode called "Bart The Daredevil". So there's your recommendation.

Turbo Dismount is like Hyrule Warriors in that both keep using this one mechanic over and over again, which should be maddening and boring after a while, but isn't. It's so funny to see how many different ways Mr. Dismount and co. can get splattered over the front of a car going 300mph across the road, and then creating the world's largest car pileup since no one yields for ♥♥♥♥.

But that's beside the point. If you like ragdoll physics, especially high-speed ragdoll physics, you'll love this game.

This is an awesome game that has endless possibilities. With 26 levels, 19 vehicles, and 21 obstacles it is very unlikely that you will run out of things to do in the base game. In the workshop there are hundreds of levels. I make levels once a week myself (If you want to check them out click this link: http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=385571587) Thanks for reading my review!
