bought for .99 on sale. after playing would pay full price. great simple fun game. CTF and Hunt are great game modes.

This game like minecraft FPS. I can rate it 9/10

after seeing the video on the store page I was expecting as fast paced, voxel based shooter, but was less than happy to find it lacking the fast paced aspect which brought the whole experience down for me.

first of all, the gamplay is about as slow as it can get, with no sprinting, and hardly any teamwork needed to complete a match. The only thing i found appealing about this game was the abillity to create and share your own weapons to the workshop although I still didnt understand a single thing on how to build/edit my own weapons.

Overall i wouldn't recommend this to anyone who has played any fps ever.
but.. if this is your first fps then I recommend that you try somthing else that will probably play much better than walking around and getting killed

Literally saved me from suicide. I wanted to kill myself so bad and then I bought this game and now I want to do it even more. The first thing you do is go into the character editor, and turn your characters head into a peener. Then you run around with your ak painted bright ♥♥♥♥ing pink and shove your head peener into other players mouths. I cannot reccomend this game enough. 897/43 for blockstorm. Made me want to kill myself even more. :)

While I do still recommend this game, it is most certainly not flawless.

The movement is extremely questionable, sometimes you can walk over small obstacles, other times you are completely unable to JUMP over that SAME obstacle, making you look like an idiot and resulting in your death.

Another complaint I have with this game is the aiming, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the aiming, you hit rmb and it takes a solid 3 seconds for your guns sights to be up, this wouldn't be a problem if hipfire didn't seem to be literal RNG whether the bullet hits or not, even if you are point-blank. Also sniper rifles have insane sway while aiming and they feel like you're sliding them across ice when turning while aiming; you know how they feel in CoD Black Ops 1? Well multiply that by about 15 and you have Blockstorm sniper rifles.

Yet another flaw this game has is the sheer quantity of hacking Russians. Sure, every game has them, but in the 1.2 hours I've logged as of the time of writing this review I guarantee I've been one-shotted cross-map by a shotgun wielding "негроидный" at least 30 times. You can't just avoid them, go to EU servers, go to NA servers, go to Asia servers, they're just as prominent in all of these places.

The game is still fun though, and I would say it's worth it at full price, on sale for $0.99 it's a steal.

This game would be worthy of a $20 price tag and be a 9/10 game if they would fix these glaring problems, but as it stands Blockstorm is a solid 7/10.

In generic FPS you get three to four weapon slots, in Blockstorm you have six slots: Primary / Secondary / Knife / Grenade / SHOVEL / BLOCK. Shovel lets you break any block you see, while block lets you alter the environment as you see fit, but it's not like you can take your sweet time stacking blocks to somewhere.

This means you can actually use environment to your advantage, much like CSGO + Minecraft. The sniper rifle in this game takes skill to use because the scope is not static; it wobbles, especially when you move the scope, making it almost impossible to camp. If you're a good sniper, you will keep switching spots.

Grenades break blocks in radius, while RPG... RPG is especially deadly against Snipers on high buildings.

Lots of customisation freedom on character skins, maps, and weapon skins. Found a skin you like? Subscribe, equip, and show off. Only 1.1 hours into the game, but seriously loving it already.

Final note, it's on 80% discount as of now until 16th of August, really don't see any reason not to buy this game.

this is a super high quality game would reccomend to everyone who was bored at 10pm with your friends and had 1 dollar in you wallet ummm its dope af just buy it and make your face a ♥♥♥♥♥♥
