Nice little shooter game for an awesome price! The only annoying thing is the slow interface, when you open the options and the intro after game over. There should be an instant replay option. Please fix this.

Candy Crush C-Rush. 6.9/10 ;)
You love Space?Space Ships, and a random robo-scorpion spawn?THEN BUY THIS GAMEI recommend this game for arcade lovers. It's pretty cheap, and lets say,you will get addicted, since it's not that easy..You won't need your mouse, and the keys are pretty simple, and fully customizable. There's only one level, and this is the negative, but for the price, its worth it.You get power ups from enemies, and you just spam your lazer cannons on them. In the end, there's a scorpion spaceship, which is..lets say the boss.

The Start menu is pretty annoying, because you actually have to see some animations, everytime you save your options.

I had a problem with the screen resolution,and..i could barely play it..but who cares.

This is like NES Silver Surf with some extra lives.
And it has few other cons:

1. Why do we have to keep tap the fire button? why can't it fire automaticlly or let us hold down fire botton down. There is no reason to stop fire. There is no turble button.
2. The hexgons at the background makes your eyes really tired. It gets better over the time but I rather have a black background
3. Lack of power ups and weapon selection. (Only one type of weapon)
4. Very very difficult, which is not a problem by itself, but you have this non-responsive keyboard control. If you press your direction button a little harder, you plane fly otherway into the wall and kills you.

C-RUSH has a very nice menu system.

That's about it.

Otherwise it is the most unisipred shooter I have ever seen - and that is saying a lot because I've seen a crapton of shooters.

There are two types of stage enemies not includeing bosses. The pew-pew sound effects are awful and the music was insipid.

The graphics are very shiny 3D objets that are bland beyond words. Your ship is basiclly a C with a spike sticking out of it that can turn on it's side to navigate some of the utterly repetitive tunnel sections.

Even if you bought this game for a dollar remeber you must still spend your time playing it and it's not worth it by a long shot.

Nice graphics, decent music, but absolutely atrocious overall design.

We start with the game launching in fullscreen. Annoying with multiscreens, but fixable. Just gotta wait for the unskippable title screen animations. Switch the game to windowed, only to find there's no resolution settings. At all. So now the game's trying to display a 1080p window on the centre 1680x1050 screen, chopping off the confirmation button at the bottom of the screen. You know what happens when you can't see the bottom 62 pixels during gameplay? You get no lower HUD.

The game itself is a similar mess of poor design. You can "rotate" your ship to be side on, which doesn't appear to convey any benefit that I could see. Enemy behaviour changes very little if at all in response to anything you do. Level scrolling stops at various points while more ships fly on the screen, but there's no apparent reason why you've stopped "moving". Pacing is terrible and the difficulty curve is all over the place. A lot of the visuals seem to be done because they simply look cool, at the detriment to gameplay. Level design is amateurish. Enemy variety is poor.

Default controls were Z=up, S=down, Q=left, D=right. Yeah, figure that one out. So I set the controls for WASD and eventually found my hidden "Save and exit" button, then discovered that ingame I couldn't move down and left at the same time. No other game does this so it's not hardware key blocking.

This game held so much promise as a good old fashioned side-scrolling shooter with decent graphics, but it's let down by awful game design and execution.

This is a great little game. I admit I was disappointed at first to see no mouse compatibility in-game, it's played entirely with keyboard. Just a preference of mine I always hope to see, but I shouldn't be surprised there isn't one here.
I only encountered one small bug with the in-game pause menu but this may only be an issue for me.

There is a huge lack of options under the settings with just fullscreen on/off, difficulty, key bindings and one other which I don't know what it is. This doesn't bother me at all, but is something others might want to take into account.
There is no customization for your ship whatsoever that I can see. Powerups are temporary and primarily obtained by destroying enemies, otherwise there is no weapon or ship upgrades. You can flip your ship around for slower, more accurate attacks and dodging. The dodging seems forced in some areas however to get you to actually use your ship on it's side, because it's very easy to just leave your ship flat and spam the two, faster guns.
Also I didn't seem to notice a scoreboard, though I did notice something about my score being uploaded. I'm not sure if there's a place online to view leaderboards; it would be nice as that is the game's point.

I'm giving this a thumbs up, why? Because for it's price this game is an amazing grab. The controls are responsive, the game is pleasing to look at; the hit-boxes are forgiving, maybe too forgiving for your enemies, but that can just add to the challenge. So there's only one level? So this is only $2.00 and I think a lot of work went into this for that price despite what it lacks. I'm enjoying this game for what it is, who isn't going to give a game a thumbs up if they're enjoying it?
