This is a great little game. I admit I was disappointed at first to see no mouse compatibility in-game, it's played entirely with keyboard. Just a preference of mine I always hope to see, but I shouldn't be surprised there isn't one here.
I only encountered one small bug with the in-game pause menu but this may only be an issue for me.

There is a huge lack of options under the settings with just fullscreen on/off, difficulty, key bindings and one other which I don't know what it is. This doesn't bother me at all, but is something others might want to take into account.
There is no customization for your ship whatsoever that I can see. Powerups are temporary and primarily obtained by destroying enemies, otherwise there is no weapon or ship upgrades. You can flip your ship around for slower, more accurate attacks and dodging. The dodging seems forced in some areas however to get you to actually use your ship on it's side, because it's very easy to just leave your ship flat and spam the two, faster guns.
Also I didn't seem to notice a scoreboard, though I did notice something about my score being uploaded. I'm not sure if there's a place online to view leaderboards; it would be nice as that is the game's point.

I'm giving this a thumbs up, why? Because for it's price this game is an amazing grab. The controls are responsive, the game is pleasing to look at; the hit-boxes are forgiving, maybe too forgiving for your enemies, but that can just add to the challenge. So there's only one level? So this is only $2.00 and I think a lot of work went into this for that price despite what it lacks. I'm enjoying this game for what it is, who isn't going to give a game a thumbs up if they're enjoying it?

I'll try to be to the point. C-RUSH is nice game: it has a pleasing colour scheme, nice graphics and music; it's simple and fun. A good, quick game to pick up and play if you are short on time. While I don't consider myself an intensive shooter player who knows the history of side-scrolling shooter games, I do think C-RUSH is a nice remake of the old school, challenging (at least for myself), and one all ages will enjoy playing, especially for $2.00.

The biggest fault I can find is the lack of leaderboards, or a where I can find them. The game is designed around this concept: comparing scores. For now, I am assuming this feature will be rolled out over the coming months.<<edit: see developer's comments bellow for location boards. I was originally looking for a something in game. My misunderstanding>>

Creating a game is no small feat. It takes hours of dedication and planning. Given that the game has been created by two people has its own challenges, and no one should be surprised that it has some bugs, especially given that C-RUSH was released today. I do have trouble starting the game up, i.e., after clicking play in steam client, a window opens up for the game, and I receive the “Hit crtl-tab for steam overlay,” but remains black. Another issue is that the game doesn't seem to remember changes to the options; I don't know if it is linked with the BlackScreen issue. I hope they don't stop developing C-RUSH, as it can be really nice game, and they fix these problems. Note: these are issues I have run into; they may not necessarily be problems everyone will have.<<edit: see developer's comments bellow. It seems they have worked hard and has normally been fixed now.>>

All in all 7/10; if major bugs get fixed 8/10.

(Also if anyone is going to whine about there only being one level and the price, please don’t. It’s not good review ethics for such a small and simplistic indie game such as this. Big companies that throw hundreds of dollars and then give you a 5 hour singleplayer for $35.00, that’s different).

Nice little shooter game for an awesome price! The only annoying thing is the slow interface, when you open the options and the intro after game over. There should be an instant replay option. Please fix this.

I do not recommend this game, long menu animations, only 1 mode ''Start Game'', gets you right into a game, as far as I can tell, you always start from stage 1, there are no level selection and everything is linear. The controls are not good, you have to care about every single bullet you shoot if you want a good score because accuracy counts for a huge part.

Monsters shoots off-screen ( sometimes for up to around 6 seconds, ) graphics aren't that fluid with my GTX 760 and the game isn't very rewarding.

Candy Crush C-Rush. 6.9/10 ;)
You love Space?Space Ships, and a random robo-scorpion spawn?THEN BUY THIS GAMEI recommend this game for arcade lovers. It's pretty cheap, and lets say,you will get addicted, since it's not that easy..You won't need your mouse, and the keys are pretty simple, and fully customizable. There's only one level, and this is the negative, but for the price, its worth it.You get power ups from enemies, and you just spam your lazer cannons on them. In the end, there's a scorpion spaceship, which is..lets say the boss.

The Start menu is pretty annoying, because you actually have to see some animations, everytime you save your options.

I had a problem with the screen resolution,and..i could barely play it..but who cares.
