“...the app lets you explore and disassemble/reassemble a wide range of firearms”
Rock Paper Shotgun

About This Game

The program is as true and accurate as possible to the actual workings of its real-life counterpart.
World of Guns:Gun Disassembly comes with seven different modes:
  • Field Strip
  • Operate
  • Disassembly
  • Assembly
  • Game
  • Super Game
  • Hardcore
In Disassembly and Assembly Mode, the X-Ray View looks directly through the gun to show you where all of the parts are located.
In Operate Mode you can fire, slide moving parts, and reload the gun when the magazine is empty. Slow Motion View allows you to see the gun’s operation in even more detail.
The Game Mode of this application is a mind-teasing puzzle. Here, you are given the challenge to rearrange and reassemble the gun in the fastest time. These times are then recorded locally and globally in our highscore tables, where you can compete with other users. Parts are usually assembled and disassembled in a logical order, but sometimes the order is determined by specific safety or mechanical limitations.

I like the concept of World of Guns. It can teach people the mechanics of specific fire arms, which I find fascinating. However, the amount of problems and unfathomably bad, anti-consumer design choices are so insultingly abundant, I hope the developers get banned from using a computer again.

Pros
- Teaches the mechanics of fire arms
- Customizable skins
- Variety in firearms

Cons
- Have to sit though unbearably slow tutorials
- Bland royalty-free music
- Usually get stuck with weapons you don't care about
- Unable to proceed unless you complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t challenges
- Have to start challenges over if you don't select parts in correct order because you don't get anything
- So much content locked behind a pay wall and DLC
- If you select a gun with the points you “earned,” from grinding, you just get a stream of uninteresting firearms.

Don't even bother

Good game, with good, realistic models. The only bad thing about it is that it's a Freemium game. You can't do anything without spending money, or grinding experience for hours. With that being said, it's a good time killer, and has a few interesting modes for perfectionists.

Good game, GUI is simple, camera is a bit difficult occassionally. Worth a bit of time playing if you like puzzle games or guns

Very fun game. Can be a bit slow to get into but if you keep playing it can be very rewarding.
I am not going to say the game is perfect but it's definitely worth a shot and more fun than you might think.

A game I saw a youtuber play so I picked it up, and played it for a while. I really enjoyed it, and confused the hell out of a friend with it. Good game!

Overall it is a good game, I do recommend it to people who have interest in how guns work, there really isn't a better way to know those things than this game that I know of. But once the number of guns you have interest in begins to deteriorate, it gets really annoying when the guns you have interest in are Freemium content. As well as every update bringing new weapons from here on out is 100% Freemium. Not expecting any changes to the formula, but saying that would be welcome would be an understatement. Cannot begin to understand people who intend to make their daily bread with Free To Play apps, but that's a personal issue.

Good game falling unfortunately short in keeping the players visiting regularly (besides the time attack junkies).

Pros:
Can help you learn your guns
Teaches how to take apart your guns
Fun to do to kill time
Has a lot of guns
Voting system for new guns and a new gun is chosen every month

Cons:

You need to pay for credits to request a gun
Missing some guns that my family owns (AR-15)

This isn't recommended if your looking for a gun, but I can't stress how useful this is if you are a gun owner or are interested in learning about guns. It even has a shooting simulator on how to fire them. (The operation section)

Generally a good game. Love the physics and graphics of it. It runs smoothly. No complaints from, it just isn't that fun unless you are really into guns.

This game is about dissassembling and reassembling guns among a few other things. It's... As simple as that. Do you really need more? Well... I mean. It's... It's good? It's... Free... Look, just play the damn game yourself and see if you like it or not. It's free, after all.
