In-game Training Stage

Many gamers have made an issue calling for an in-game training mode so we're working on it. We'll add this update for all of the versions. The VP community has created a guide to go into Practice Mode in the current version.

Buyer's remorse kicked in too late for me to get a refund...oh well.

I can't recommend this game and here are my reasons:

1 - This is a free doujin game and no one has ever heard word from the original developer about this localisation. That and the publisher never explained how they got the rights to sell it.

2 - The characters they're selling as DLC have always been in the original game.

3 - Not all DLC characters work together which is ridiculous, just look at what I wrote on top of this. All these characters were on the original game to begin with, how come they won't work together now?

4 - The gameplay is dull, clunky and awkward. You don't need to go for combos at all, you can just break the AI by spamming any kind of attack when they perform a wake up.

5 - The game gets boring really fast. REALLY. FAST.

DON'T. BUY. IT.

I have never refunded a game so fast. This game is straight garbage. It doesn't even have online multiplayer which in this day and age what fighting game doesn't have multiplayer? Now i love the Artwork, Spritework, and Fan Service. That is literally all this game has going for it. If anyone reads this review do note that this is a free japanese game. All you would to do is search for the japanese Vanguard princess version on google and you will find many websites to download the free japanese version of the game. I strongly recommend that people do that instead because i can tell you right now that this game is not worth paying for. even if it's only $5.00. On steam even $5.00 could get you something better than this trust me. Especially when those sales come around.

Like I love fighting games of all types but the options are so shallow, it's like swimming in a kiddy pool. You can't adjust the audio at all, can't play online without a 3rd party hook up, and the help bar literally just tells you who this game is made by. I like the characters and moves but the "storyline" this game offers is just a bunch of characters you fight in a row to the boss. Bruh, you gotta watch like a minute opening sequence that you can't mute everytime you launch this game. One of the most lazy fighting games evar.

2D game where you can see girls fighting(and those bouncing boobs) with their supporters. A 2v2 fighting game where you pair them to have powerful partner to form an unstoppable team. This would be fun to play but there are lack or missing in the game.

Things that should be add/fix :
• Tutorial/Practice mode for the newbie and for practicing the combo/skill.
• Add characters and combos
• Fix Fullscreen mode
• Game Controller

Is it a good fighting game? Ehhh?
I don't really play fighting games apart from Tekken so I wouldn't really be a good judge on how it is as a fighting game itself but theres a long list of problems that just bug me.
-Characters seem unbalanced: Some can do special throws that take away half of your health yet they don't count as a SPECIAL move so it doesn't behave as a special attack so it can be done repeatedly. Some characters have ranged weapons which they can spam. All in all the characters aren't bad but you can get some unfair matches that you really don't have any way of winning
-Supports don't do much: From what I've expirenced your loli supports don't really do a whole lot? Some seem really ♥♥♥♥ in terms of moves. You probably won't get a chance to use them much anyway seeing as how you get penelized from getting hit some certain way? I don't understand it. Also it seems you can't counter with the supports, it seems your support won't do damage if the opponent is just recovering from a hit or hitting or just preformed a hit. It's odd.

All together as a game I'd rank it a 6/10 but as a fighting game it's more of a 3/10. I know it's on an older engine but it seems the company that bought the rights to this game doesn't seem to really know anything about fighting games and balancing them.
