"Has gag-traps similar to 'IWBTG', but requiring abit less finesse to clear. Memorization is key to getting Eryi to the end of this cute but cruel game."

About This Game

One fine day, Eryi went to eat the melon that she had been SO looking forward to... but it was nowhere to be found! Then she noticed a note on the table. She picked it up and read: "Your melon looked delicious, so I took it. From Farta X"
Fuming with rage, Eryi set out from her house to get her melon back from Farta.

Eryi's Action is a 2D ‘trapformer’ by developer Xtal Sword that is visually inspired by Super Mario, but has gameplay akin to games like I Wanna Be the Guy. Don’t be fooled by its adorably charming looks – this game abounds in traps and wants you to die! However, where IWBTG was murderously difficult, Eryi's Action is additively challenging and FUN!
Trap placement is often laugh-out-loud funny and seriously engaging. Some traps simply need to be learned to avoided, but others are puzzles that will require your skill and wits to beat. Either way, Eryi’s action delivers laughs, frustrating and satisfaction & all for just $4.99!

Features:
  • 12 action-packed stages & boss fights!
  • Adorably charming world & characters!
  • Fiendishly cunning traps!
  • It’s okay to fail! Autosave has your back!
  • FUN! You'll die a lot, but you WILL go back for more!
  • 32 achievements!

Don't be fooled, this game is as manly as Metal Slug and Contra combined. Your melon-shaped protein and steroids were stolen so now you're gonna unleash the roid-rage at every living and non living unlucky enough to cross you. You'll die hundreds of times but it won't matter, nothing can stop you when you're this pent up. You're so strung out that death phases you for a mere brief repose before you continue tearing a trench through every inch of terrain in between you and the promise of giant burly muscles contained in your melon.

10/10, would laugh at death a hundred more times in order to get big.

I lost my soul to this game, it crushed any pride I may once have had and I now feel like I am the most pathetic human being ever to walk upon the Earth.

This game is a masochists wettest dream, and a sadists most powerful torture device. If you're one of these people who always barks out that games aren't challenging enough, this game will change your mind forever, you will never want to play a challenging game again. I regret I was born, but at least I finished it, I died more in this game over 6 hours than I did in Dark Souls for 100 hours. So expect tears of grief and sorrow as the game destroys your soul.

the real game is in your head; try keep up with your own suspicions that you imply you can avoid traps, or foresee them. then you may find this game to be more of a puzzle than simply a mario-esque platformer.

playing this that way may result in paranoia and certain brain cell death, and makes the game seems to be one-of-a-kind, instead of simply 'trolling' and 'rage-inducing'.

+1 to cute sprites.

The reviews saying that this is a troll game and that you'll die more than in Dark Souls...are not kidding. To play this you need a patient sense of humor regarding all the traps and weird instances you'll have to make your way through. Personally, it made me think of Youtube users going through a SMW hack or something...especially ProtonJon and the hidden note/music blocks. A short game overall that completely kicked my ♥♥♥, yet in a fun and amusing way. Not sure if I'll bother doing the rest of the achievements but it was fun to playthrough.

Some of the puzzles do take a bit to think through though so remember to BE PATIENT! :D

So many ways to die, I now care about looking for ways to die instead of completing the game. 11/10.

Don't let the cuteness fool you. Lucifer and Luigi had a fling, and this is that demon spawn. The only way it could be more evil is if you were timed. You will die.

Okay, let's get this straight. This game is a cute platformer puzzle trap simulator.

This whole game is a sweet gag, and you're the victim. So in order to play this game I'd like to add another Minimum System requirement, namely a good sence of humor so you can actually laugh, AFTER the surprise. A tenacious spirit sure helps alot too.

My personal opinion; I liked it alot

And if you're no fan of unfair surprises and prefere a dreadfully predictable outcome or 100% visible spike traps. To you I suggest this:

- Turn off your computer screen as it emmits radiation that could endanger you.
- Stay away from other radiation sources like WiFi and microwaves.
- Turn off all the power in your house as you never know when a spark could burn down you and all you own.
- Seal all windows and doors with bolts to the point where it's airtight.
- Drink lots and lots of fluids and sleep alot.

We sure live in a dangerous world.

A sadistically difficult 2D platformer in the vein of I Wanna Be The Guy, though not quite as short. There are recurring "puzzle" sections in most of the levels, and figuring out what must be done in order to progress can take quite a while (and multiple deaths). A high amount of memorization is required, as most threats cannot really be avoided with reactions alone. Getting 100% achievements is not for the faint of heart.
