“Chicken Shoot means great fun for both hardcore and casual gamers and is definitely good value for money (I can't say that for all the games which come out in stores...).”
90 – XabreGamers

“The graphics feature beautifully painted backdrops and about 10.000 hysterical hand-drawn animations. There’s also fantastic barnyard music that stays with you long after you play and humorous squawking effects. ChickenShoot Demo was rated by Avault as Top Shareware of the year!”

About This Game

This tiresome bunch of feathered troublemakers is not giving any peace. Stop this hostile destruction from these rampaging roosters in Arcade mode, or fight against the clock in Classic mode in three difficulty levels. Six fabulous landscapes (in Chicken Shoot 1) and another seven landscapes (in Chicken Shoot 2) enchant the player again and again revealing new secrets and gimmicks every time. Punctuated with loads of original sound effects and underscored with idyllic music both parts will amuse not only the lone player, but the whole family with its variety of comic chicken animations, unique surprises and hilarious, raucous chicken noises.

Invite and join forces with the like-minded for a spell of joint poultry plucking in a network, or on the Internet. Alternatively, stalk them alone and achieve the ultimate high score to secure first place on the international online scoreboard.

The Gold Edition contains both: Chicken Shoot 1 and Chicken Shoot 2

9 years ago, I was trapped in an abandoned factory for 3 weeks straight. There was very little light and almost no food or water. I discovered two things that helped me power through this time in my life. A cheap desktop from 2004, and a copy of Chicken Shoot Gold on CD-ROM. Using the manual powered generator I found in the basement of the factory, I did nothing but play Chicken Shoot Gold until I was rescued by the missing persons detectives. Playing it now brings a warm sentiment to my heart that I cannot obtain anywhere else. I think of the struggles I have faced and how I know I can power through them, no matter how hopeless it seems. It all comes back to me with this game. I would rate it 10/10.

And people say CSGO was the first to make shooting chickens the primary goal of game play.

7min of gameplay for chicken shoot 2 (classic mode)

-note- the game asks for your key before you can play and the steam overlay doesn't seem to work so you need to write it down.

These are like light gun games but adapted to a pc where you click instead of using a light gun to shoot.
You shoot the chickens and some objects for points but shooting none chicken birds will take points.
The chickens will sometimes throw eggs that you need to shoot before they hit you.
They will sometimes fly by with power ups and if you can shoot them fast enough they will drop it for you to use.
There are only 2 modes, arcade & classic the only difference is in classic you need to get a number of points before time runs out to move the the next board and arcade you need to shoot a number of chickens without taking to many hits from eggs to move on.
Sadly this is the only wat to play the later boards and if you die it's back to the first one.
