Pretty good starter items, but they become useless once you get past your first day or so. Still though, if your super rich and have money to burn, buy this. If not, dont.

One of my friedns got me both the SP's DLCs and when I read the comments it got me worried, since most people say it's only lvl 1-3 gear that will become obsolete after the tutorial.
I was pleased to find out those people were wrong.
I figured with my amazing attacks skills and Butter's outstanding heals I could still beat the crap of the other kids, even without decent armor, so I equiped my Assassin outfit and never gave it another tought.
When my character reached level 5, I got a notification saying he had automatically been equipped with new gear. Now, instead of using his full lvl 2 Assassin set, he was wearing a full lvl 3 Thief set, whose buffs are comparable to the ones on lvl 4-6 equipment.
The same thing happened when my character reached lvl 10. Again, I was given an upgraded outfit (lvl 7) for my class, for free. And I'm guessing I'll get more outfits throughout the game (maybe every 5 levels) as I keep leveling up.

Also, not only you get updated outfits, but you also get free weapons (a melee one and a long ranged one).

Bought this just to get 2 achievements more easily, but I'm kind a bored now to play this game from begigng 5th time. Only thing I want tell to makers is "Make multiplayer, or unless co-op please". DLC as itself is useless

Not completely useless but pretty lame of them. Price isn't terrible though. Would I recommend it? No. But if you're a completionist or have to have everything like I sometimes do, go ahead.

I did a playthrough wearing the Necromancer armor, and had a lot of fun with it. That said, the buffs weren't very helpful after the first hour of the game. For those, like me, who like to play the game without armor, these offer extra choices to customize your character with besides the default look and pajamas.

Pros: Looks cool!
Cons: Buffs aren't relevant past the first hour or so of the game.

This DLC contains clothing that gives you special boosts, depending on which outfit you wear. unfortunately, the clothing becomes obsolete when you hit level 3 (clothing is level 1 or 2) which pretty much happens as soon as you finish the tutorial phase of the game.

Don't waste your money.

I should read the reviews before I buy..... :D

Thumbs down only to the "useless" DLC's!
The reason is that you'll change your equipment (the DLC's) to a better one within about a hour..

The game itself is awesome :)

Not worth the money. The gear is only good at the beginning of the game when you don't really need the help anyway.

This game is great, but this DLC is utterly useless.
Gear in SP:SoT becomes outdated very quickly, and this particular early gear will barely last you past the game's tutorial. Save your money and buy anything else. Even a newspaper to read while you're taking a crap will last you longer than this "DLC".

No, those DLCs are just level 2 equipments you quickly outgrow of and aren't worth the money.

DLC's were a complete waste of money. I thought they came with quests (maybe to find them a different combo on the enchanted forrest hmmm) but it's just crap gear that you outlevel immediately. They could have improved the dlc by making the gear improve similarly to your base gear getting leveled throughout the game, or added something other than four costumes for $3. Biggest waste of money ever. Having said that, I would love some additional gameplay like new quests and such.

Loved the game, hated the DLC's.

Absolutely not worth it - buy the game without DLC. Makes an easy game a bit easier in the beginning but the items become obsolete instantly.
