About This Game

Crashed and alone on a world mankind tried to leave behind, Darkout challenges players to survive on Illuna, in harsh, procedurally generated biomes, utilizing the game’s sandbox features to build shelters, craft weapons, and research new technologies.

You are not alone. Light-sensitive creatures prowling the landscapes become most active at night and in a world shrouded by clouds the security of day will never come, instead, twilight periods allow players minor security to explore, rebuild, and gather resources.

Darkout’s deep history manifests itself through logs left behind by others, some recent, while others hearken back to long-extinct natives of Illuna, offering glimpses into what events led up to the pandemonium that now persists.

How will you survive?

Development is dead and has been for some time. Developer has more or less vanished and only blames others for their failure to deliver. Steam should remove this game from the store.

i purchased this a while ago and its really fun. the graphics are good, the lighting is really pretty and i liked the building and research. it is like a pretty, but really dark and atmospheric terraria.

BUT...
it is nowhere a finished product and probably never will be. it's just another one in the long row of unfinished games on steam with a future as dark as the art style itself.
I am really sad to give this game a negative rating, but i cannot recommend this in it's current state.

Just another set of scum bag thieves that ripped off a bunch of stupid people such as my self for backing this game. Its turds like these that are ruining pc gaming as we know it. I think Steam should stop all this Early Access crap and make it like the good ole days when developers had to actually work to get paid. Now its get paid and I may develop this game. Just depends on how many hookers and crack rocks we go through each week

Avoid this title, Algraf has said they will not be developing further. They took the money and ran.
Read the rest of the reviews , check the discussion board. Also look for Algraf on the internet - and do not support any of their other titles.
