Looks like the old NASCAR 2013 game with new skins.
The custom paint room i can not navigate. The game is made for console users and i use a PC so i have to work around it. I dont race online so i will stick to the game car skins. Customs ones i make always look bad any how.

I played this previously on the Xbox for about 4 days to see if it was worth getting at the time, and with all the bugs in the game back then, I just said I'll wait until the game hits at or below $20. When I saw this was going for $20 on steam, I got it, and after currently 4 hours of career and single player racing, I found they have improved vastly on the game

I cant drive these cars with a G27 wheel, xbox 360 pad, or a keyboard. I was hopeing for arcade action at least. Cant even get that. I am so stupid for buying this game and the last Nascar game. Completely unplayable. Is it to much to ask for to be able to drive a car around a track in a nascar game?

I do like this game, but there is little change from the last two games. It has a few bug fixes and such, paint scheme upgrades, but this game isn't very different. If you care about little things such as new paint schemes, this game will suit you.

Great game, i'm a Nascar fanatic so i enjoy playing it. Not the most realistic nascar game i have ever played (auto pit lane sucks ♥♥♥♥).

This game has so many bugs. The developers don't seem to care about their customers. The game came out in Febuary and here we are in the middle of June and there is still no patch. Even though this game is part of the steam summer sale DO NOT BUY IT!!

Game sucks HARD... bought it because i had 15 bucks to burn.. would have rather actually lit the money on fire for more enjoyment. the 60FPS lock is a joke, windows are not in cars, horrible tearing even with vsync on... none of the realism issues were ever even looked at by the dinks who made the game... sorry. Stick with NR2k3- at least you know that the cars handle close, and the AI knows how to race...

Well, this developer got me again. Shame on me. It has the EXACT crash to desktop on pit entrance the last NASCAR game did with zero support. I am the idiot for buying the game again, but me and my friends will never buy another game from these people. Trash game, trash support, and trash developer.

I'm a NASCAR fan, and I like NASCAR 14, but knockout qualifying is a bit bad. Other then that it's a great game.

NASCAR 14 is a glossy visually appealing console game designed for the casual gamer, not the hard core simulation gamer.

This was my first NASCAR game since NASCAR 4 (circa 2001) and, compared to NASCAR 4, calling NASCAR 14 a simulation is false advertising. NASCAR 14 is a game console port, designed to appeal to the casual gamer who wants to be a Jimmie Johnson or Jeff Gordon from the start. NASCAR 14 has great graphics, fun racing and some spectacular replays, but........ if you want realism, go and get NASCAR 4. It is extremely unrealistic in terms of damage and pitting on cautions, I was treated to a replay and then the option to pit BY PRESSING A BUTTON (which I never got to work). No worrying about pit road speed or hitting your stall or about being blocked out by another pitting car. Also after accidents including flipping my car, I was able to remain competive and didn't even lose a lap!

If you want realism or an immersive environment, don't get this game.

Pros:
A career mode that implies you need to worry about sponsorship.
Great graphics
Nice music (NASCAR 4 had none)
Little skill required to play.
Ease of changing assists (i.e. it is not either all or nothing)

Cons
Career management is largely impotent due to very little impact to your finances even if you mess up your car on a practice session
Other drivers seem to be perfect and never crash. Sometimes bad things happen and sometimes you benefit and sometime you don't. In this game it is all in your hands
Little realism, no need to adjust your car to your driving preference. Go ahead and put all that weight on the front right tire, it won't blow at all! No need to spend time balancing your car to minimize tire wear while balancing it with the need for more speed.

Once again they got me. They said they were going to have Multiplayer AI and once again, they failed to deliver.

Bought this thinking it woudl be fun to drive on this ovals. Sorry to say, the dev of this game back really taken to not caring one like bit about the quality of thier product. You cant even find a server in your area to even get into a MP game. What a sad sad way to rob people of money. Have a huge name "NASCAR" stamped on this. and it not worth spit. WORST DEV EVER NO PATCH. If you like single player game GO for it. If you want a MP experience. RUN FOR YOU LIFE SAVE YOUR MONEY. #NASCAR

Let me start by saying I'm a NASCAR lover. Have played every NASCAR sanctioned game since the mid late 90's. This game is pretty and the detail is very high BUT....the AI is almost impossible to deal with unless you turn it well below 50 % difficulty. It's like driving online with a room full of 10 year olds. All they do is wreck you. If you drive with a gamepad (windows 360 controller) switch the steering to the directional pad. The left and right sticks are impossible to use. I long for the days when Papyrus made the best PC racing games around. They released their last game in 2003. RIP Papyrus, you'll never be forgotten. Too bad Eutechnyx didn't make this game the way Papyrus mastered it.

I like it on PC what can I say. I have a racing wheel setup thrustmaster RGT forced feedback clutch aka pro.
I did not enjoy it as much on the keyboard but probably would have gotten use to it. I enjoyed it instantly on the wheel.

I've read some various complaints about crashes, game play slow, lag etc. I can't say if that has anything to do with the customer meeting the min. required specs, cpu, graphic, memory etc. However, those symptoms do resemble weak specs of the PC and can't be ruled out either.

Like I said I don't know. I look forward to working up my racing career to unlock new stuff and racing in multi race online. I noticed a lack of multiplayer racing from what I can tell so I posted my scheduled race and the first race had some response of 8 people racing. I was one of the slowest but it was still fun.

I did not see much different in the AI vs real players they both crashed me off the road on restarts, but real players wrecked a lot more making it hard to get through the race.

Overall I love it. I highly recommend the min. specs especially a good graphics card and highly recommend a racing wheel of some sort. Xbox 360 controller on my PC was crappy and keyboard seems crappy IMO. Thats because there was no fine tune steering with xbox360 contoller and keyboard. It is either all or nothing. Same with acceleration all or nothing on keyboard or xbox360 controller. I might have been ok with the controller but could not figure out how to make the toggles work incrementally like they should they just turned full or straight.

Anyhow I'm loving so far and working on my first unlock of goodies.
See you out there
