tl;dr: If the screenshots and description sound interesting, it'll be mildly amusing for 2-4 hours. Liked it, 3/5.
Remember that game "fl0w" that came out in 2006 for Flash/PS3/PSP/PS4/Vita? This is a lot like that, with a little more depth, and a little less polish. The goal is to eat more orbs than the other creatures in each level, either by eating free floating orbs, or by eating the orbs that make up other creatures. Depending on which color orbs you favor, your creature will evolve one of three ways, with red moving quickly, but eating slowly, green eating quickly, but moving slowly, and blue in between the two. Each evolution also has a unique special ability. A confusing boss fight aside(Hint: Double click his tentacles, work your way up to his head), it's a decent enough little game. The biggest complaints I had were the things that were unintuitive, and weren't explained in-game. I wasn't aware of how the evolution worked, nor was I able to figure out the boss fight, until I read this guide
. Once I read that, it was smooth sailing.
All in all, there's not much depth, content, or replayability to the game, but there's nothing wrong with it either. The soundtrack and gameplay are nothing to write home about, but if whatever the current price is is worth it to you for 2-4 hours of mildly interesting singleplayer fun, then give it a try, you won't be dissappointed or impressed. If you can't decide if you should spend the money or not, skip it, you're not missing out on a hidden gem.
