About This Game

Control the evolution with the touch of your finger. Climb your way through the evolutional ladder. Start as a little organism and transform into a magnificent aquatic being. Explore the abyss in search of nutritional elements. Attack other species whenever you run out of other food sources. Enjoy beautiful surreal visuals and relax with minimalistic ambient soundtrack.

Can you grow the biggest Sparkle in the world?

Subtle, captivating, addictive. These three words describe the world of Sparkle - world in which you make a tiny aquatic creature evolve into becoming a grown, magnificent being.

We give you control over your Sparkle's development and wellbeing, and you have one goal - to evolve. Whilst exploring the Sparkle Void, you find various nutritious elements to eat. Sometimes you will even have to fight for food with other species. You become what you eat - you get to choose whether your sparkle becomes a fast and aggressive carnivore, a sluggish but fast-eating herbivore, or an omnivore, whose features lie somewhere in between. Insight to your Sparkle's DNA strand will give you information about the progress and will help you plan which microelements you want to focus on eating next. You will also get to fight giant bosses from time to time.

But there’s no rush to keep the game in full swing at all times. You may as well just relax, play the game on a slow pace, explore the sparkle void, consume nutritional elements, enjoy simple and surreal surrounding and listen to the ambient music soundtrack. The choice is all yours.

- Three different ways to evolve. Become a fast and agressive carnivore, a sluggish but fast eating herbivore, or an omnivore whose features lie somewhere in between
- Play through 13 dreamlike looking levels.
- Use GenLab to check your Sparkles DNA strand, your progress, status of your special skills, and plan what to eat next accordingly.
- Relax with great chilled-out ambient soundtrack.
- Compete against other Sparkle in fast-paced competitive mode

Sparkle evo is... well... wierd.
It's kinda like a fancy more stylised version of spore, minus the customization abilities.
I dont really recommend the game, due to the fact that it has such short gameplay.
Sure its fun, but after a while, it kinda gets boring...
I got this game 90% of on a steam voucher, and seeing as I had 50 cents in my steam wallet decided to purchase it...
Unless you can do the same, done bother with this, its not worth $5.00

2/10...

It's a pretty good game. It's also simple to understand: Eat, grow, eat some more, rinse and repeat for all the levels. The difficulty doesn't really increase, but the areas become larger and there are more elements to collect in each level for completion, as well as a larger array of different kinds of life as you progress. You don't die, but there is a "Competitive mode" that times you and pits you against other critters (controlled by AI) like yourself, all trying to gather as many resources as fast as possible before time runs out. That mode isn't fun, but I just turn the option off.

Overall, I recommend because it's easy and relaxed, and I had fun with it.

Only issue is that it's repetitive once you've done it a single time, so nothing really feels new.

It's worth buying at discount, but probably not full price.

At first I didn't know how to zoom in and out ("z" button and "x" button) but then I found out. So after that I started completing the levels which were short but fun. If you haven't played the game don't read the spoiler. It was interesting to eat the giants. Also had a really close game with the AI while I was still learning how to play the game. :D There is a guide on Steam which can help you get all of the achievements pretty fast.

Fair warning: This game is super addictive. It doesn't take very long to get the acheivements to start rolling in, so if you're a completionist, you might find yourself playing for a few hours steady.

Honest review.

- I still don't know why my creatures change (some people say You play with 3 - for me its stupid)
- The gameplay is not that bad, but it's buggy I got stuck inside the octopus and couldn't get out had to restart level and this one is REALLY hard one.
- I don't really feel like I'm making any choices? It feels like whatever I will eat it will lead me to the same evolution...
- Some levels are big, but have "JUST enough" food, which makes this game boring I had to run around one lvl for over 20 min to find last 5 of any color

Overall it's fun game but for me, it needs still a lot of work, and it feels, it's not finished yet, not polished.

I've played firstly 1 hour, and decided to make all achievments, so I did another 1 hour, but I don't think I will ever finish it.

I just hope it would be less boring, omg.

I recommend ON SALE.
