Don't let the shadows catch you!

The goal is clear: get as many points as possible and as far as possible without crashing into something or running out of solar power. Easier said then done!
Even though this game is as arcady as it can be, it never gets boring for a number of reasons:

  • The map regenerates every 24 hours, making it fresh and new every day you play it.
  • It's great to play when you're drunk or high and or with friends.
  • The controls are great and responsive and if you die, it's your fault so you never feel cheated

I highly recommend getting this game, even if you don't like arcade-style games, because this one really mixes things up! Challenge!

A great game to play with the controller, I feel that this is the perfect game for casual racing if you are tired of playing something more complicated or you just want a quick high speed thrill (just the load time for this game make it good for this).

I also really like the idea of trying to out run the sun, kind of remember me the novel "Dying of the Light" from George R.R. Martin .

Addictive as hell. Minimalist graphics and gameplay, yet what few elements there are, they are done masterfully. Runs at high quality on the integrated graphics of a laptop; if you tote around one with a dedicated GPU, you don't even need to turn it on - you can play on-the-go without burning through your battery.

Even though sometimes you want the next map to just roll around already, I think the decision to rotate them once every day is very spot-on. It forces you to just relax, pull back a bit, and remember that games should be played in moderation.

Really cool and fast paced twitch racer, somehow relaxing and exiting at the same time, and gets a good arcade feeling going.

Really cool game to pick up, play a few rounds and easy to drop and come back to.

Easily one of the best games I've bought this year.

If you are looking for a slow and complex runner game, it is not here. This game can be very difficult very quickly, but it does everything with polish. Simple, clean, and fast. The trailer really shows the ideas and speed of the game, if you think it's too fast or repetitive then you won't like the game. But I've found it very enjoyable. A slower-speed option could help newer players through the awkward progression system, but the game is still solid.

I've never really been a fan of the runner genre, but this game cleans up the issues and polished the best parts. Still, the amount of content is fair, but I don't think the game is incredibly replayable. Most reviewers are around 5 hours or less, with very few above 10. I consider myself nearly "done" with the game, seeing most of what the game offers in a reasonable time. It's very good content, but only something I'd come back to play occassionally. I'd recommend waiting for at least 50% off ($4.99).

An interesting and surprisingly deep twitch reflexes platformer.

Slightly addicted as the maps are switched up everyday. The game also has quite an active community of map makers.
If you're looking for something different, consider picking this up.

Definately worth buying if you can get it at sale price.

The graphics are fairly pretty, if basic. The music is pretty good, but you'll hear certain tracks more often, owing to your exploding ship. Gameplay is basic -- collect crystals to get points, and extend the daylight. Playing the same track over and over gets old though. I understand that it resets everyday, but having to wait a day for a new track is a bit silly to me.

Great game. Solid sound and design. Takes a few hours to complete but it doesn't end there. Just gotta keep going and beat your previous high score. Also, the workshop implementation is really good. The extra maps really add a layer of fun. 8.5/10

I have this installed on Ubuntu 14.04. It's stable and smooth. I use a wireless 360 controller and it works great. The game is an arcade type and you get just one life. My games are over and done in three minutes. The menu doesn't mess around and it loads quick so you can stay in the action.

You're plane goes fast and you have to navigate an obstacle course. Well actually it's more like a glider because it can't fly up. You can take jumps though and that's fun. The controls are responsive and liquid smooth. Also it has a course editor too, so that's cool. Haven't tried it yet.

I like this game. It is simple but it works well. It is fast and fun.
