This game, well... I waited a long time to leave a review. I put a lot of time in this game and I love it, I loved the community and I enjoyed my time here.

It pains me that I'm leaving this review, because it means an exit- an end. One that I didn't really want to face.

Sins of a Dark Age struggled, lack of marketing is - in my opinion - the reason it wasn't able to stay up. I wrote an entire guide for all the quests that were available when I played, I updated it with the new content when it came out - but I wasn't blind, I knew it wouldn't stay up. For a long time the peak wouldn't go above 28 players, and a lot of these were invisible, unknowns but the community was tight knit.

Then we were told that Developement would be ceased For those that actually read my review. Developement is over, what is there is all that will remain, less and less people will even see this. Maybe if you all found it before something could've come off it, but now. Don't bother.

Good game, but it is literally dead and the devs have even said that they're leaving the project.
It's a shame.

A very ambitous game without too many flaws! It fills a niche, the MOBA that's fun yet not focused on competition too much. For what I could tell from my short time with it, the community seems to be much more gentle than in other games of the genre. The movement feels just a little sluggish, but you can get used to it. It's great fun, especially with friends.
But:
I'd love to recommend it more whole-heartedly, I really would!
Sadly, this game was dead on arrival. The MOBA genre is, at this point in time, dominated by a few games. And even more so with multiplayer games, especially with a free-to-play, they rely on the size of the playerbase.
As of writing this, there are 26 players online, the highest I've seen were around 200, global most was ca. 1200 if I recall correctly.
I don't understand why any developer would try to develop in this genre. It's nigh on impossible to get a foot in the door, even if your game is excellent. If it's just good, forget it.

Small community, but good game - seen this so many times. the game just doesn't have an apealling charater(s). Every good moba game has that 1 character for everybody preference, like a cute small girl with a voice that makes you tear up because it's so cute, and every game needs a cocky as ♥♥♥♥ character.

and overall just more female characters. Only female worthy to pick was Ziri because assassin girls are the sexy by nature.

Was a very fun game overall, wish they didn't annouce the closedown so early because I only was able to enjoy only a week of gameplay before the matchmaking became a desert.
