About This Game

The Inner World – A 2D-Point’n’Click Adventure

Robert is a novice, a bit clueless, but with a heart of gold. He lives a peaceful life as a court musician in Asposia's largest wind monastery. Contrary to the laws of physics, Asposia is an enormous, hollow space surrounded by an infinite expanse of earth. The world's air is provided through three wind fountains, but as one wind fountain after the other petered out and the wind gods came to Asposia, all of the sudden Robert found him in the middle of a whirlwind.

Together with the help of the mysterious thief Laura, his best intentions and no clue whatsoever, Robert sets off on his adventure to discover the secret of the wind's disappearance. Will the young adventurer be able to save his world? And what are Laura´s secret intentions…?

This game was a solid point-and-click adventure. Good story and the puzzles were clever. I played this with my son and he enjoyed it as well even if some of the humor was over his head. The graphic style of the game is pretty cool. I think there could have been more flute-nose puzzles but overall it was fun.

Clever riddles, good synchronisation, beautiful hand drawn animations and a charming soundtrack. The characters are likeable and the story is intresting! Highly recommended for adventure fans of all ages! I'm so glad I found this gem! I'm really satisfied with this game and will keep an eye on the developers! Highly recommend!

This game is a gem of point-and-click adventures. The hand-crafted backgrounds of the world really give the whole game a great personality (even if the character art was a bit too simple for the beautiful scenery). The storyline is creative and engaging enough that I couldn't stop playing and made it through the game in about 8-9 hours over three days. Currently playing through it for the achievements and making sure I find all the clever jokes buried inside.

8.5/10, am playing again.

A very fun game about a little "Flutenose" named Robert.
The game has a lot of humor in it and the puzzles are clever.
But after you finished the game it's nothing more to do and you now all the puzzles so that's pretty sad.
So here's my advice: after you finished the game, just wait until you forgotten all the puzzles(a month or something) and then you can play it again.

Really nice little adventure game. Not a must play, but it's nicely animated with decent puzzles that are only occasionally obtuse. If you like the genre, it's worth a look.

Clever riddles, endless humor and a setting that could move on to a sequel. If you love this kind of adventures jsut try it. Moreover, the fact that it gives you hints can help even a starter with riddles to finish it

I think this is a pretty good game. Great voice acting and amazing drawings and animations. Also, the script is nice.
If you like old style adventure games, like Day of The Tentacle or Full Throttle, then youre going to like it.

A quirky little game which will be a treat for those like myself who enjoy the point 'n click genre. It might not be your cup of tea if you aren't a die hard adventure game fan, but if you're willing to give it a shot you will probably enjoy it. It has possibly the greatest hint system ever devised, so there's no need for walkthroughs. Some minor sound glitches here and there, but nothing major.

A fun, quirky little point-and-click game with a likable protagonist and a enjoyable enough plot. The puzzles rarely stretch into bizzaro game logic (In particular, there's something involving a rolling pin that I find very bothersome), and the experience, as a whole, has a lot of charm. Strongly reccomended for fans of point-and-click games, and even if you aren't, probably worth getting on a sale.

The Inner World is a light-hearted and fun point and click adventure game! The story was warm and adventurous and the setting was very enjoyable; from the slums, to the bar, to the jungles and ruins of Asposia. Although a short game, i clocked in nine hours, the experience was very enjoyable. Great voice acting, the graphics are fun and easy on the eyes, the game mechanics are very easy to learn, and the music is great! If you're into point n click adventure games, this is one worth experiencing!

Fantastic adventure game. With loveable characters, cheesy yet charming voice acting, an awesome 2D art style, and a fantastic world design, this is one adventure you don't want to miss out on. Reminds me quite a bit of Pajama Sam. The only real criticism I have about it is that the game is a little bit too short, but still a fantastic and rewarding experience nonetheless. Buy it today.

The pace is rather slow, but very relaxing. The main theme is such a pleasant song as well. Story was rather interesting, and Robert had such a cute personality! FOSFOSES ARE JUST THE CUTEST THINGS EVER. <3

I've played the first Deponia before Inner World, and I can't help but compare them, since these 2 were the first 2 point & click games I've played. I found that I love this way better than Deponia. It seems pretty much the same thing with both games, but somehow, the Inner World makes it less repetitive, more calm, and the dialogues way more interesting. I've never used any hints (*cough* #AchievementGet) and I've talked to every single person in the game (*cough* #AchievementGet), and the dialogues are in no way boring. There are quite a lot of little background contexts as well. I guess I prefer this over the first Deponia!

I think The Inner World is a great point and click game. The story and characters were engaging and I wanted to see it to the end. Unfortunately it is a bit short as I beat it quickly, but I loved it enough to go for multiple playthroughs. I think that this is a great point and click for both veteran and newbie players on point and clicks.

After a longer time of abstinence I have returned to point-and-click adventures. I have been looking forward to playing The Inner World, I think, since I saw an interview with the developer some months ago. And The Inner World did not disappoint.

Nice cartoony graphics show a world that adds its own wildlife and mythology to everyday adventuring. The characters are lively and enjoyable but encounters are quite short. Still the main characters develop some depth.
Puzzles are mostly straightforward but if you sort of miss the beat it may take you a while to rediscover your puzzle-patterned mind set.

I played on an older machine so loading times between "rooms" was rather long, usually upward from 30 seconds. If it weren't for that I'd say you can play through the game in an hour, that is if you know what you're doing. Which you will when you replay for achievements or in order to write a walkthrough etc.
This touches on something I'm missing in the game. The game has three slots to each hold one progress of one playthrough. So you can never go back from some situation in the game. If you want to know how another decision at some point in the game would have played out you need to play the game from start up to that point again. This going forward is alright for a single playthrough but after the first I'd like to be able to jump to one of the five chapters at least.
On my second playthrough I forgot to change the handling of a situation, then realized it and played through almost four of five chapters again because I couldn't turn back time 30 seconds.

Anyway, the first playthrough makes for a number of enjoyable hours and I recommend The Inner World to players that want to spent some time on an easy-going, enchanting narrative about people, politics and impending doom ;)

Recommended. Classic point&click adventure, reminds me a bit of "Whispered World" (which I'd also recommend). On sale at the humble store.

The best point-and-click game I have played recently, definitely recommended. If you have interest in the p&c genre, you won't want to miss it.

Other than that, I could just repeat what I have already said here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/251430/discussions/0/522730075519562704/

I really enjoyed it. The backdrops are beautifully done, and I liked the art style of the characters. The puzzles are well done and the solutions make sense, unlike some point and clicks out there, and if you are missing something the built in hint system is really good about just giving hints without spoiling everything unless you want it to.
