Clever little puzzle platformer with a really great soundtrack. The graphics look like proper pixel art and the whole game feels very much 80s-90s. The puzzles require a little bit of thinking and a bit more timing, but all feel fresh and interesting. It gets quite tricky in the later levels, but it never feels unfair. Totally worth 5$ and a must-get on sale :)

I'm totally recommend this game.

Don't let My record trick you, I've beaten this game around 32 hours with DRM-Free version that I've got a while back from IndieGameStand along with Steam key.

Escape Goat is a well crafted puzzle platformer indie game and has a balanced difficulties also sometime quite challenging in some levels for instance when you're getting into the end of level, the puzzle get a bit more difficult to solved and sometime you ended up trying over and over again.

Escape Goat is a great puzzle platformer, with a good learning curve. A tight and precise gameplay combined with an excellent level design provide some interesting puzzles. The game features catchy and enjoyable music and nice 16-bit retro graphics. Only downside is that the game is too short.

Escape Goat proves itself to be an entertaining game, even though such entertainment doesn't motivate you to play for hours such as the bigger games with giant budgets releasing nowadays. When playing it, one would surely remember their days of playing browser games on websites dedicated solemnly to hosting them, both because of its visuals and how the gameplay works. It is extremely charming, and I honestly can see it being featured in the library of any kind of person.

The Rat with the Hat helps the Goat cross a Moat where they save a Sheep who is Asleep and escape a castle that I can't rhyme with anything.
