Mud Fight: central sector moved slightly closer to blue side in order not to incorporate another hedge.
Nuclear Winter is Coming (Conquest): increasing one sector's value from 1 to 2.
Punchbowl, removing the contral sector, outside of the town.
Hell in a very small place, central and bottom zones slightly extended in favor of blue side.
38th Perpendicular, increasing the size of India sector to facilitate access to the city above.

Wrecks & Rocks, extending Foxtrot sector to include some woods in order to help blue side securing it.

One of the best, if not the best, RTS at the moment. Looks simple at first sight.

Don't be fooled.

Good addition to the Wargame series in terms of the single player campaign, the multiplayer is also good. I feel that the addition of naval was good but could have been done better by giving each nation there own navy, for example Britain could get various destroyer, frigate and cruiser from post WW2 to the second Korean war in game. But I understand that smaller nations navies would be hard to balance. Overall I would recommend to anyone who like a complex strategy game (this game requires you to manage fuel and munitions in battle).

This is one of the best RTS games on Steam and my most played game. It finds a happy balance of micro and macro play and uses a unique way of balancing the various factions.

If you like unit variety and like feeling like each unit has it's own uniqueness and usability and using combined arms to overwhelm the enemy then this is the game for you.

If you have ever Zerg Rushed in your entire life then buy the game to support the developers, but please for the love of sweet baby Jesus do not actually play the game because we don't want you.

i liked the set-up of the game. but it really requires a lot of knowledge of the game before-hand. you cant just jump right in, as many experts who play this game would agree with. they would advise you to read the 200 page manual and then get in. units are so hard to identify between anti-air or anti-ground, especially when it comes to aircrafts. i like how they made it very realistic by doing so, but it really is a game that you have to be invested in prior, or else you wont have that much fun playing it.

Do I recommend this game? Yes. But be warned ye new blood, the game is complex at first.

And when I say complex, I mean that in a realistic way. There are no base building mechanics, only a finite amount of troops to rely on, and most certainly of all a rough and ragged player base that will tear you apart for making even a slight mistake.

I like the game for the complexity it brings unlike the spam and click fests that other RTS'es usually offer. The game takes a table top wargame setting brought to life in a computer simulation, relying on heavy use of RNG and does it rather well. The game engine does have its limitations such as no towable vehicles (Certain mortars and AA guns, etc.) and no infantry mortars.

Also, for those concerned that the game may no longer be supported, Eugen is currently engaging in community events that brings more nations and units to the game, so they are still devoted to the game.

The only thing I happen to dislike about the game is the lack of LAV-AD, YA-9, A-16, and F-16XL units, but that's just a minor quip of mine.

Despite a steep learning curve, this game is one of the best RTSs out there. Wargame is something of a "light wargame", with a stunning diversity of real-life units, but some basic simplifications and gameisms mixed in to keep things fairly reasonable. Players build a "deck" of units from a given country or coalition, and then fight it out on a map.

Wargame emphasizes positioning and macro over high-APM play, and is a particularly good choice for those who can't keep up with StarCraft-style RTSs requiring intense micro. On the other hand, you will have to spend some time becoming familiar with concepts unfamiliar to a typical RTS player (like the differences between types of missile guidance) just to get your first deck built. It's a step up in complexity from Dawn of War/Company of Heroes but not insurmountable. Fortunately there are plenty of tutorials available to help a new player out with game mechanics, deckbuilding, and tactics.

Naval combat in Red Dragon, the major mechanical addition from previous entries in the series, is seriously flawed. Most multiplayer maps avoid it.

There is still a strong multiplayer community, with popular match types generally available at any time of the day. However, the lack of a matchmaking system for non-ranked games--the overwhelming majority of online play--can be a problem; team stacking is absolutely rampant.

Currently my Favourite RTS (played all C&C series)
played all the wargame titles in the series.
A lot more thinking than clicking.

The game is very complex in a good way, for new people reading
(There are over 1,000 units! & 17* Nations)

-There is no base building in this game.
-Income is time based, depended on sectors controlled
-Certain sectors have spawn points &/or different point values.
-Decks are used to decide what units can use in battle.

The main game mode is \'Destruction\'
where you have to destroy the enemy units to a specfic value.
If the score is close it can be a draw or a minor victory/defeat.

Units, (Land, Sea, Air)
- own point value; to spawn/destruction
- different armour values,(Front/Side/Rear/Top)
- states; calm, worried, panic etc
- have problems, like detracked, weapons jammed, damaged optics.

Weapons, so many different types, better if you play ingame to understand.
Tank Cannons, Rifles, Laser Guided Bomb, Anti-Radar Missiles, Mortars, Guided Missiles & more.

200 page guide will explain everything (link)
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=247884292

-------------------
Random Notes:
-you can hide the console chat, as its a troll fest usually \'A\' is better than \'B\' arguments.
-just check what the lobby you join, as rules are modified, the 2 extremes are, low or High income. Low income is usually \"Tactical\" as you manage a few units as it is will be a long time before you span more. Or high, which can be Unit spam at times. There is medium income lobbies as well.
- I prefered Wargame EE\'s scripted campaign more than this sandbox style.
- Please used combined arms & recon, if you only use one type of unit you will be heavily countered.

I love this game. The developers and their awesome FREE DLC's! I bought Air Land Battle first. Loved it. Enjoyed it then got Red Dragon. Got 3 free DLC's. One pay for DLC just came out and i bought it as fast as I could. They actually give a ♥♥♥♥ and do things right I feel. Call of Duty and Halo charge you for maps. Not Eugen.

I love this company and this game. I have 'low' hours in this game because of a unit limit....Came over from RUSE (no unit limit)

Pros:
-Every unit under the sun
-Bunch of nations
-Makes a constant fun struggle to manage
-Constant tactic changing
-Feels more compact than any RTS i've played before
-Fueling/Ammo impact is amazing! LOVE this concept
-Naval/Land battles are fun
-Different play styles for different people

Cons:
-UNIT LIMITS (I know its part of the game to make you think...but i WANT massive battles including a disposable army lol)
-Restrictions, wish you could play a certain nation at a certain year and go with what they have ready
-NO UNIT LIMITS ON AI! (If i have one YOU have one...cheating AI !)
-No settings for UNIT limits/Restrictions, be nice to have it for the players that want that option, if not you don't have to use it
-Hunting down and trying to kill the LAST or what you hope to be the last remaining AI Command vehicle to end the round...often times, three people i play with are searching high and low, and in every corner of the map and we still can't find the game ending ai command vehicle, most of the time its an average of 30 mins. We hate time limits, so we never have one, sometimes thats the worse decision! lol

Pro:
- Major Cold War Factions (NATO vs Warsaw Pact. Ofcourse not all NATO nations are present ingame, but the major nations. You have USA, South Korea, West germany & some of theyr allies vs North Korea, China, USSR, East Germany & theyr allies)
- You have over 1000 units to select. Jets, Helicopters, Tanks, Artillery stuff, Battleships etc. Very huge amount to select.
- You have very big maps with different huge zones you have to conquer.
- The game has good graphics. It looks beautiful. Ofcourse not like newer games, but graphics are not all and it does not have to be like battlefield where everything reflects everything and bloom everywhere and stuff.
- The game is very good optimized. I have a Intel I5 with max 2.6 GHz (without turbo boost, 1.6 GHz), 8 GB Ram and Nvidia Geforce GT750M with 4GB and it runs very smooth even in spam-mode with the Sandbox mod where hundreds of units fight around the whole map.
- You can create your own Deck.
- True Cold War theme.
- little modsupport (you can retexture units and do small config changes).

Cons:
- Lets start with the most important: No proper modsupport. Yes, we can retexture content and make some config changes, but replacing & adding models, adding complete new units, nations, creating own maps and objects, editing current maps, editing/replacing/adding new sounds and those stuff, are very important and limit such a feature just makes the lifetime of a game shorter. Look at battlefield 1942: People are modding and playing it today and that still after 13+ years. Look at the forgotten hope secret weapons mod, what they did to the game. Same with project reality for BF2. Its not only amazing what modders can do or how they can change the game, but how the community can increase the lifetime of a game. DayZ mod was the reason why ArmA 2 got so much sales, that it became top-seller on steam and thanks to this mod, we have ArmA 3. The devs said, that this mod saved ArmA 3 because there were problems during development and 2 devs were arrested on limnos island, they werent sure if they can release ArmA 3 but then DayZ and the ArmA 2 sales rescued it. Please dear Eugene Company, allow the community to proper mod Wargame.
- No Submarines
- No Drones
- No ABC Weapons
- No Large planes like C130 and similar stuff
- No Aircraft Carriers in MP & Skirmish Mode
- No Paratroopers
(The above mentioned stuff would not only make the gameplay more interesting and the game more realistic, but they also would have played a big role if the cold war became hot).
- Each map looks the same: You have in every map the same buildings. Its mostly copy-pasted stuff. Every map feels like youre playing the same maps, the only difference is the terrain layout. World in Conflict is a example of how it should be done, where on russian maps russian styled buildings and objects are placed, for european maps european-styled buildings, objects etc and for U.S-styled buildings the same. Also when we talk about objects: i miss stuff like police stations, different types of buildings (currently, there are only small asian-vietnam style buildings in every map) also, trash, cars etc placed around the maps. In Short: The maps miss alot of details.
- The wrecks for aircrafts looks strange, basically just retextured to have a burned-look after shotdown, no wing or anything missed after crash to ground, they also crash sometimes strange.
- Ive never saw that infantry entered buildings and used them as cover or for sniper and stuff, i dont even know if the game has such a feature.

Overall: I can recommend this game. Yes, there are some cons. Yes, my conlist looks longer than the pro list. Yes, not everyone cares if the game has submarines, ABC weapons or not. For some its important, for others not. Yes, there will be hate against me from fanboys that cant handle any negative point and they try to talk everything good, but that does not change the fact, that this game is fun. It is one of the best RTS game out there. You wont find the large amount of units in a game like C&C, world in conflict etc. It is the ALMOST PERFECT RTS Game out there. For some it is already, but not for me, because of the missing stuff i mentioned in the conlist, because there currently exist no RTS game where you have ABC warfare, submarines, drones, planes, navalwarfare, ground, tank, helicopter warfare etc all in one combined. If they would add these missing stuff or if they would allow community to mod the game and modders would add them, then we have the first RTS game where all of those things are combined into one game. (Well, atleast idk about any game which have them already combined, but im talking about an RTS game in the level of Wargame or world in conflict). If they would add the missing stuff, we would have THE PERFECT RTS game.

I recommend buying it.
