I am not a good reviewer, but since I clocked in so many hours of Gameplay into that title, I try my best to tell you, why I would recommend this title.

The amount of units is astonishing, Over 1000 "different" units can be choosen in your decks. Many different nations are avaibable and these use their representing units of the "cold war era". You build decks with a set of "cards", which are the units you are using, showing you their stats and quirks. I probably took the most time of the game in building said decks, trying to achieve the best outcome of my units. There are no "best"-decks just better ones, but even these don't always succeed, because of the different playstyles you can use.

I advice every newcomer to play either the campain or skirmish at the start. The Multiplayer-community can be toxic at times, so watch out. Many people are helpful, but some aren't, don't get yourself overly upset about that. I also advice to watch some youtube-videos of let's play, to get a feeling how that game actually plays, it may not be your liking. Read guides and ask many questions, until you get the grip of the game.

Even deckbuilding can be very complicated at first, but ask around in the forum, or other players (like me) what to use or what not to use.

The game is extremly fun when you got good teammates to play with. Even Solo it has its good moments.

All in all a good title to sink in many hours either building decks or playing around (or for some just chatting in the wargame-chat). Very good value if you can grab it in the next sale. I would even pay the full price (again), consindering the hours I clocked in.

Thanks for reading!

Plays match against random dude.
Late game, I'm losing terribly.
Cue massive helicopter swarm from bottom of map heading towards my spawn territory.
Last thing I see in chat is:
