Sun of Juche & Final Meltdown: downscaling the reinforcement arrow.
Mud Fight: smaller red spwan sector to balance the "point of contact" near Alpha.
Mud Fight: central sector moved slightly closer to blue side in order not to incorporate another hedge.
Nuclear Winter is Coming (Conquest): increasing one sector's value from 1 to 2.
Punchbowl, removing the contral sector, outside of the town.
Hell in a very small place, central and bottom zones slightly extended in favor of blue side.
38th Perpendicular, increasing the size of India sector to facilitate access to the city above.
Highway (big), central secttor's value increased from 1 to 2.
Wrecks & Rocks, extending Foxtrot sector to include some woods in order to help blue side securing it.

- Autocanons noise increased by about 20%
- Tank filters in the armory fixed.

As far as I'm concerned, this game is a very good one, simulating real time battles in modern warfare. There are virtually every unit you can find in today's military arsenal. Imaginary as the campaigns are, they are also reasonable enough and very likely to happen in that specific time period. For me, I enjoy the Second Korean War most for it provides much liberty and it is not very hard.
All in all, if you are a fan of contemporary military equipment, or enjoy being in command of a modern army, this is definitely a game you want to try.

The game is hard to learn but it's good. You must watch some youtube tutorials before start playing, because the game tutorial is @#$!. The reallity of the battlefield is the best part of the game which you cannot find it in other games. Many nations and may units to customise your army (deck).
Pros : Reality and nice grafics.
Cons :Bad tutorial
Overall 9/10.
If you r a military RTS fun just buy it!!!

The greatest Turn-based RPG there is on steam, you start off with just some flour and eggs, and have to use the basic cooking manual to make the first cake from there you get xp and can level (normal RPG stuff), Yes theres fetch Quests and the Cliche stuff but the story is solid and the combat is more diverse then the likes of Skyrim or Just Cause 1.

Overall Yes buy it, its better played with a few friends as are all Co-op lan play simulators.

Have fun

This is a very very good game, if you play with your friends !

+The graphics are great, very well optimised.
+Unit variety and details, all great.

-Single player is not good, AI is Dumb.
-Your unit AI, but in single and multi is Dumber.
-Helicopters, infantry, tanks, they have morale but it just effect how well they shoot standing still. I mean 100 enemy infantry attacks your 20 men, they slaughter them and they do not fall back ? Your helicopters are shot down by rifle fire, they dont fall back, they are out of ammo, they just hover there still and die, same for all your units !
-So you have to micromanage everything.
-THERE SHOULD be options like falling back auto, getting into cover vs.
-Campaing is meh, including all the dumb ai issues.

*** This could be the best RTS ever but it is not. I mean so much detail but dumb ai overall ? If it had some AI, just some it would be definitly 9/10 but at current state it is a 5/10 for singleplayer and multi. 8/10 multi with friends.

This game is a great simulator, but I warn prospective users to brace yourself for a pretty intense learning curve.

I picked this up as an experienced RTS player and I spent probably the first two hours of play just frustrated out of my mind trying to figure out how to make things work the way I wanted them too. You really have to take some time and get used to losing to master this game.

Other than the learning curve, the game is awesome. The graphics are stunning, and the gameplay is fun and engaging after you figure out how it all works. I would strongly recommend it.

I like cold war stuff this game very misleading tho cause the war is very hot and dangerous and not vry cold at all actually. You also get to kill many yellow skins if you play america which makes the game 10/10 automatic. I hate commies and yellow skins so this game is good buy for me. If you live anywhere but america you probably hate america cause youre a jelous ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cause we are better so if you buy this game you can play as the commie ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s and kill young american heroes like the red piece of ♥♥♥♥ you are. I suck at this game and i argue with people in the global chat sometimes so don't listen to me

It pains me to give this game a bad review, really it does. But! This game kinda sucks. Heres why.

The developers are total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s
The AI is so utterly horrible (they just spam you with units and dont really use any real strategy)
The singleplayer is useless
Decks are useless (you want to use a leopard 2 ehh? WELL YOU CAN'T!!! well technically you can but only 4 of them!
The decks limit how many units of that type you have which really sucks. Also the decks are just really really really sucky in many other ways. But for the most part its just the limiting of the units. basically forcing you to use some piece of ♥♥♥♥ tank from the 50's when the game takes place in the 70's-80's so the only way to get more than 4 tanks is to use the ♥♥♥♥ 50's tanks.
theres not a whole lot of modding going on with this game. Theres a few mods out for it but good luck trying to get them to work because the devs have screwed it all up so much!

The game is a slight improvment over airland. But its still broken and still terrible. The naval warfare is a joke, the only way to win is spam, spam as many rocket ships as possible. The rockets are just as much of a joke, hidden behind a mountain? Thats ok the rocket will still lock on and somewho jump over and then directly down onto your ship.

The land battles are a bit better than airland, they have fixed things that should ahve been patched for the previous game.

The campains are much better than in airland as you aren't fighting over the same province over and over and over, instead all the units in theat provicer are in one big fight, which works much better. But a lot of campains involve navalbattles which just ruin everything.

Don't bother with this game if you want the naval side, the ground combat is ok. If you enjoyed airland you might like this a little better but stay as far away from the naval battles as possible. And as they are tied into so much that really ruins the game.

This review may not please the multiplayer only/PvP players in the crowd but I thought I would write up a review from the perspective of someone who mostly only plays single player (campaign, skirmish) or co-op with friends against the AI. This review is in no way implying that single player is somehow more important than anything else objectively, just that it is personally one of my primary concerns.

With that disclaimer out of the way, let's get down to it.

Wargame: Red Dragon is probably the worst iteration of the series when it comes to single player. All the major elements like a vast selection of units and interesting maps are there but the AI is not just bad, it is pretty much the worst AI I have ever seen. For example, if you give the AI a deck with a single selection of T-55's, a single selection of BMP's, and perhaps a single selection of Mi-8's, they will first send every T-55, then when you blow them up, they will rush you with BMP's, when you blow them all up, they will send Mi-8's. There is not a whole lot of actual tactics or nuance on display (even when compared to the AI of prior Wargame titles) and the single player just becomes boring at best and annoying at worst.

The other issue for single player/co-op types is the perhaps over-zealous amount of deck balancing that has happend since the game first came out. While I am sure all the different unit "cards" are very balanced and make for solid competitive style play, the arbitrarily limited, nerfed, and buffed unit cards make for rather stale single player. It makes me wish that they had taken a play from Men of War's book and offered a lot of options to make it good for either single player types or multiplayer types. That way everyone could have been happy and nobody (single player focused folks like myself) would get left out in the cold.

If you are a PvP multiplayer focused gamer, this is going to be a good purchase but if you are looking for solid single player content, you should perhaps move on to other titles in the series or other RTS's entirely. To be blunt, Eugen might as well have not even bothered with single player considering how obviously ignored it was.

Played this game for hundreds of hours. No RTS like it. I can keep going back to it no matter what. Multiplayer has a suprisingly strong core group of players on very frequently.

It can have a bit of micro involved but once you get it, it really adds to the experience and takes the strategies and tactics to another level.

Highly recommended.

Never rated a game. Tend to keep the goodies to myself. But THIS.......Words are kinda beyond me.

To put it simple, you can buy it in FULL PRICE and wish you had paid more - the sheer hallucination that they're taking the premium you paid to develop the next game or dlc will keep you optimistic for EVERYTHING ELSE IN LIFE.

- It comes with a pack of 3 games: Multiplayer, Warchat, and Reading the Steam Reviews (which I am adding to).
- Multiplayer = everything you dreamt or imagined about the Arms Race that should happen but didn't happen - EVERYTHING, I mean it, execpt the part about the nukes.
- Warchat, best chat room ever, takes you back to the Cold War when all kinds of ideologists and extremists - Leftists, Rightists, Communists, Jihadists, Imperialists, Fascists, Nationalists, Racists, Sexists (WTF?)... discuss how they wipe one another out IN REAL LIFE.
- Play single-player and AI-skirmishes as "tower-defense" and achieve a kill/death ratio > 100:1.
- Play single-player as a tutorial before playing multi-player and witness the ratio getting reversed...for a long time.
- Beginners plz don't start by choosing a "support deck"......or your house will get torn down by an elephant.
- Rock cissor paper/ Heli Tank AA/ Grenade luncher rules all infantry.
- Patience. Grow up and learn not to quit when having a hard time. When you do, you leave all the ♥♥♥♥ you summoned to ONE OF your poor teammates on the OTHER SIDE OF THE MAP. Unable to manage, he quits, leaving all the ♥♥♥♥ to the next guy......GG in 5 min.

Last but not least, I'll tell you a joke: Act of Aggression.

To summarize the strategy of this game:
Have a back up plan to your back up plan. Of your backup plan.
Have AA infantry to defend your anti tank infantry to protect your AA trucks to protect your tanks.
Have Supercobras to defend your Seacobras that are defending the aforementioned troops.
Have planes, to intercept planes, that are intercepting your bombers.
USE NAPALM ♥♥♥♥ING EVERYWHERE

The game is hard to learn but it's good. You must watch some youtube tutorials before start playing, because the game tutorial is @#$!. The reallity of the battlefield is the best part of the game which you cannot find it in other games. Many nations and may units to customise your army (deck).
Pros : Reality and nice grafics.
Cons :Bad tutorial
Overall 9/10.
If you r a military RTS fun just buy it!!!

POSITIVE REVIEW FOR SINGLEPLAYER ONLY!!!!!!! 10/10
If you want this game to play five really good campaigns against AI, then why the hell are you reading this and why haven't you started downloading it yet?
The campaigns are great, challenging for a first time player and sometimes, it pisses you off to no end. There is easy 100 hours of game time on the campaigns alone.
Otherwise, skirmish is fun. You can have massive tank battles or human wave battles if you wanted.

NEGATIVE FOR ONLINE!!! 5/10
If you want it to play online against other people, 50/50 chance you'll regret buying the game at full price.
Online community is small but that’s not the issue.
From experience, PACT forces massively outguns NATO.
How you ask?
Bigger, better, more cost effective artillery
Better, more cost effective AA to the point where they can shoot down your SEAD aircraft before you can even get in range (and they get 5 of those bad boys in the deck)
Better planes (to the point where it is almost impossible to bring them down, even by spamming jets)
Tanks and anti-tank units that are way too overpowered when it comes to their pricing (Seriously, when pricing is compared to a Challenger 1 MBT, I’d take the PACT tank because I'll kill it with a missile from my tank before it gets in range -.-)
Their only downside is the lack of infantry.
But why the hell would you want infantry to storm the town when you can have a plane dump napalm on it or do a massive artillery spam and then send in tanks to kill severely damaged and panicked troops?
Even then, just take SPETSNAZ and throw them into the town, they'll take down 2 times their points in either infantry or vehicles BEFORE THEY START TO TAKE DAMAGE!!!

Furthermore, at least once every four games if you are playing as NATO, you'll go up against a person who loves spamming stuff. And not cheap bad stuff that you can bring down with one or two missiles either.
And at least 1/10 games there will be a artillery spammer.

Although you can have fun with NATO decks in online games, you will only get victory by being a a**hole and taking out their command forcing the game to end early.

Online is fun though, that is if you like being PACT and can actually find someone willing to be NATO.
10/10 single player
5/10 multiplayer
