So, after tinkering around with this game for a short while, I've got an idea of this game. The graphics are pretty shoddy and look kinda off when you move, but they work (for the most part, anyway, determining what layer a block is on is tricky and overhangs just vanish when you're under them). The music is honestly quite enjoyable, but nothing fantastic.
Gameplay is simple, but effective: both combat and building have little to them but still satisfied me nonetheless. The menus do their job, but aren't special and don't really look pretty. The NPCs have nice designs (and the ones that speak are often humorous) but enemy AI is incredibly simple and similar.
I can't really comment on the MMO aspect, as I prefer playing solo. But for an MMO, I enjoyed my time alone, which is generally a good sign. I've heard complaints of being only playable if you shovel money into it, but I honestly didn't feel that way at all. Overall, the game is lacking. However, there are three factors that stop me from not reccomending this:
1) The game is in early access. The biggest problems I have with this game (namely, the artwork and the simplicity) can be very easily fixed with future updates.
2) There's just a certain...CHARM the game has. With it's designs and it's dialogue and it's style...there's just something about this game that I love, even if it isn't that great on closer examination.
3) The game is free. There is really nothing stopping you from at least trying it out and making a decision.
TL;DR: The game is simple and somewhat lazy, but charming and free.
