Unless you have friends to play this game with you, do not buy it. The community is dead, whatever is left is extremely cancerous and there are no good servers to join anymore.

I recommend avoiding this. N//A
I'll be honest, I can't give a detailed review because I haven't had a lot of experience with this game, and please take this into account, this is my experience as a newcomer to this game. I personally don't like recommending against games, but I recommend that people avoid buying this.

I don't think this is a game worth buying, and starting now because the servers are almost dead. When I say almost, I mean I haven't seen it rise over 200 in the time I've owned it. It currently has 161 members across every server. Only 8 servers with more than 10 people in them (Their number ranges from 10-20), the rest consist of small numbers of people.

And ignoring the overall player count, I haven't had a fun experience with the game. Not because it is a bad game, but it is an oudated one, and it isn't getting updated anymore. So you are left with a small community in a game that now has little to offer. The only popular servers right now are Role Playing servers, where you pretend to live alongside other players, and a few battle servers, but I don't enjoy these because of the ingame combat. There are also a few building servers with a few players in, but with the players ingame, I'd recommend getting a better where you are able to design and build.

In this game, you start up, or join an already started multiplayer server. No disrepect to people who still enjoy to play the game with a friend, but I haven't had a great multiplayer experience in the larger servers. The players are active in chat, but I can never get into chat because it's just complaining, and arguing, and asking for a boyfriend etc. I'm not sure the age range of people still playing the game, but this has been my experience.

I was never into Blockland and I only got it because it was on sale. I will put this simply.

Blockland is not fun.

I've tried to understand the game, but everything about the gameplay is incredibly boring. I tried, but it just isn't worth it.

Needs more faces, you can get add-on faces (Extracting it) like Im using but only way for other people to see it is for them to have the same add-on. Either making it to everyone sees the add-on (Probally not possible) or adding some faces like some face packs people make or more better exspressions like a sad or mad expression.

Overall, The best thing that happend to me 10/10 ign

keep in mind that ive spent most my hours on the non-steam version
i really love this game. i played it as a kid and i still play it getting some kind of enjoyment out of it. one bad thing about the game i have to note is that almost nothing about the game has changed. its still the same old top 5 played servers, that isn't necessarily a bad thing though because you still see the same community and reconize everyone. overall i have to give this game a 9.4/10 for being one of the first games i purchased myself and still being my favorite game.

Used to be a very good game, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. However, it has gone down the drain since 2007; espescially since 2012. 95% of servers have been pretty much the same since 2010. I left for 4 years and came back a while ago to check on things and host for some friends and got bored out of my mind pretty fast. It says i got 60 hours playtime, but that's from running some servers for some friends who can't port forward.

I'm an ancient player, from the days before TSS showcased the game back in 2005. I've made hundreds of friends from this game, but the community as it stands now has been garbage for like 9 years. I can't recommend this game to anyone, but it's your money; not like I care.

My review for Blockland

Even though there isn't really many people that play this game, it is still fun if you enjoy building with lego, I can't stop playing it (as you can see by my hours (2557 as of writing this review)

There are many types of servers to choose from ranging from Boss battles to City Roleplay there is even freebuilds and mini empires

So if you like to build using lego, this is the game for you.

I had the demo for this for a few years, and when I got the full version I was just so happy. So ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ happy. Then the steam release came, and I am OK with it, but new players, there used to be something called the "Steam Apocalypse", where many a blockhead will join random servers and screw up everything. Fear not, that's over, but my 3+ years of having this game and nearly mastering it, I can't say it's bad. Some say the physics is bad. And if you do... can you find the nearest gun and ammunition? THE PHYSICS IS THE BEST ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ THING EVER. It's what makes the Speedkart gamemode Speedkart. It's so hilarious nearly every time! The last thing I have to say: When trying to up your fighting skills, make sure you don't fight any experienced tryhards. Don't. Ever. Unless you're also an experienced tryhard, in which case, ♥♥♥♥ you! Go ahead and fight! I did get the steam version for free, because my Blockland key is older than the steam release. I don't play the steam version because my non-steam version has all my add-ons (basically mods except you don't need to download them to use them, except for textures, sounds, and music).

The game's community is dying and what is remaining isn't very good, along with other issues.
I would only recommend this game to you if you have other friends willing to play it with you.

It's actually not that bad.
Even though the community is dying, I had quite some fun building in singleplayer.
You should definitely give it a try if you love lego.
