What the developers have to say:

“Thank you for checking out our Early Access page! If you support us now, you will be able to try out the combat mechanics in the arena prototype, duel your friends on the same machine by hooking up two controllers, and use the integrated level editor to explore and modify a number of included environments. You will be able to try out the features in the new alpha videos as soon as they are released.

However! The game is still undergoing very active development, so you can expect bugs and performance issues as the game progresses and changes. In its current state, it is more like a sandbox of technology and martial arts, and less like a story-driven action-adventure. If you want to play through a polished campaign, you may want to wait until the game is fully completed! If you would like to have fun experimenting with our technology and mechanics as they evolve, and support us as we complete the game, then now is a great time to join our community.

Sincerely,
David Rosen”

About This Game

Overgrowth is a third-person 3D action game that allows you to leap and climb through sprawling levels as a ninja rabbit, and engage in intricate and brutal combat with a variety of weapons and enemies. It is still very much in development, so while the mechanics and features are mostly in place, there is no campaign, and players mostly experiment with the easy-to-use modding tools, and fighting in the arena.

If smacking someone in the face with a machinegun of some sort doesn't do it for you in games, then this is the game for you! It's not a game where you click and the game plays a hit animation for whatever you clicked. In this game, your character basically becomes a physics object and the force will actually transfer to your opponent ( e.g. if you roundhouse someone, they will go FLYING in the opposite direction (unless they blocked, in which case, awww too bad)).
Oh, there's also parkour.
And mods.
And maps.
And a forum.
and a community-created mod browser.
Ok go buy it now.

P.S. It isn't a furry game, nor is Lugaru. Apparently, David thought it would be too brutal on humans and with rabbits, the jumps and what not are more realistic. And the combat is pretty brutal.
Oh, and there's instakilling wolves. And weapons.
Ok seriously now go buy this game.

Furry Fighter 20XX. The game is still in alpha and it was announced in 2008. It already has a lot of detail though, so I can imagine just how deep the rabbit hole could go. (Yes, that was a bad joke, I am sorry.)

If you love mucking about fighting athropomorphic rabbits and wolves, then get this now. If you want less mucking about and more objective or story based gameplay, wait till this is fully released.

All I have to say is This Game, This game is beyond fun, With the enjoyment of Parkour, Assassinating your Targets, Or just straight up getting into a fist fight. This game was very worth the buy and I can't wait to see what else this game brings!

The Open World Parkour Sandbox do whatever you please is just so much fun and so much fits into my taste of games.

Looking for a good Sandbox? Pick up Overgrowth, You will not be Disappointed!

Bunnies are hareless.

Do you like running on the walls? Do you like jumping high right over other overgrown animals? Do you like fighting? Do you like bunnies? Do you like Receiver? Do you like the nature? Do you like fighting tricks? Do you like beating up others? Do you like getting disqualified and still beat up the enemy you mostly hate in the game? Do you like red? Do you like blue? Do you like other sorts of colors? Do you like editing levels? Do you like-like this game? Do you like the creator of this game? Do you like to stop reading this review now? Do you like to get this game? GET IT...

Some fun for two, maybe three hours. Very repetitive gameplay, almost no variety. The developing team is among the worst that I've dealt with. Since purhasing the game around 6 months ago, I have not seen one change in the gameplay, or more importantly, in what you can play. The only playable parts of the game are several challenges that can each be accomplished within minutes, and a game mode where you have to try to win over fans by fighting opponents. Also the $30 price tag for this atrocious, un-finished, and downright lazy game is absolutely ludicrous. I've purchased games for five dollars that I've gotten more out of than this filith.

Stay the hell away from this game. Unless somehow, miraculously, the developers actually put some work in, and make it actually worth more than two dollars, this game is absolute crap and you should not purchase it.

Disregard this review if the developer of the game miraculously releases an update which makes the game as good as it looks.

When I first saw this game I saw potential, complex combat, a soon to come campaign, and a dedicated developer. I purchased the game for 30$ and relized I had made a terrbible mistake. Fristly the Bland repetitive combat, the developer stated that there were multiple combat techniques and you could not just "Spam left-click" well I tried spamming left click and was succesesful in 99% of fights, I didn't know what the block button was until I had completed all challenges and won countless arena battles. The campaign mixes with dedicated developer, if he was dedicated he wouldn't have made a half-♥♥♥♥♥ series of arena battles, slapped it in the game, and decided the game was worth 30$ now. Do NOT waste your money on this game it isn't worth 5$. Not to advertise but games like Dayz SA, garry's mod, and minecraft cost the same or less than this game and are far more entertaining. If the developer reads this I have a message for you, your 30$ steam game sucks, give us a half decent update or give us our f*cking money back.
