Loved it, it's a tad less good than the original but it's still an awesome game.
Scribblenauts Unmasked lets you unleash the power of your imagination. The number of items you can create is astonishing and now you can create DC comics characters (as well as a lot of alternative versions of them). You can have a lot of fun trying to make them interact with each other. I don't know much about comics characters and the game teaches you quite a bit about their origin (there are dedicated quests about the origins of a few characters), their powers and how they're all linked to each other. The number of side quests is huge and can sometimes be tricky to solve. It's also interesting to find some unusual combinations to solve them. Scribblenauts might look like it aims at a younger audience but even when you're not a kid anymore, it's still a hella lot of fun. I love the very cute graphic style and the soundtrack is pretty awesome. Imagination is a powerful tool. Finally, for achievement hunters, most of the achievements are easy to get.
It's not very long (just a few hours) and unlocking costumes is just grinding, you have to solve a lot of quests to get them all. The story isn't very compelling to be honest and is mostly carried by the DC universe. The number of different environment isn't very high as well and it's a bit disappointing.
Great game, for both kids and adults. The cuteness of the graphics and the soundtrack, as well as the (probably not always obvious) depth of the gameplay makes it really enjoyable. I'm just disappointed that they basically took Scribblenauts Unlimited, added the DC universe and didn't add very much new gameplay mechanics. Get the first one if you haven't played it since it's better in my opinion, unless you're a huge fan of the DC universe.
