Very nice production.
Megabyte Punch is a sidescrolling beat-em-up game where you can attach the parts of fallen enemies to your character to gain new combat abilites.
Graphics are great, music is great, and gameplay is tight and responsive. Some of the level design is a little obfuscated and makes exploring every nook and cranny pretty time-consuming, but the environments all have their own subtle style, and scripted battles are paced nicely throughout.
If you're ever played Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. games, you will feel immediately at home with the gamepaly. The more damage enemies have, the farther and faster they fly when struck. When they hit something hard enough, they explode, at which point you can grab their parts and attach them to your own fighter.
It's extremely tight and fun to play, and the local multiplayer is awesome. You can play co-operatively through the story mode, or brawl in Super Smash Bros style arenas, where falling off is the only way to die. Obviously online play would be a nice bonus, but sadly it isn't supported.
