Medal of Honor: Airborne a.k.a. MOHA is a "based on the true historical facts" FPS game which take place in WWII(as you can see in the pictures above). This awesome video game was published in far 2007(7 years ago),but I've bought it only in this year.
As a big lover of WWII features I expected to have a fun by completing the missions. The operations,in which I was dropped form the airplanes, were not as astonishing as I had expected. The singleplayer mode is kinda boring for a man of 2014. I've seen the same scenarios in COD series before,so I was not excited by this aspect. But on the other hand, the gameplay is unique, different from COD engine and many other games.Shortly speaking,if you played this game the year it was published, you would totally be excited by the innovation...
...but then,I met with the multiplayer mode.Frankly speaking,I thought it would be a typical multiplayer where you have to eleminate all the targets and get the higher score on the table(Then be proud of yourself at the time you go to bed and think about to beat your K/D ratio record the next day). I was wrong, terribly wrong!
At first, there are only few servers(about 10) and in only 3 or 4 servers you can see the marks of the "Civilization". My first imperssions were like: "- OMG,am I playing the extincted game or what?", "- Where are all the people?" or "- This should be really bad multiplayer because of the few buddies playin it?!" etc.
Yes,there are not thousands, hundreds or even tens of people on this servers, but about 40-50. The servers where everybody know and respect each other. I made new friends regarding to this awesome game. We are speaking, joking, having a lot of fun every evening in TS and I complain about a single thing -
I would have bought it before
ConclusionIf you are a man of war,
If you are a great fun of WWII games,
If you like WWII featured multiplayers,
or if you just want to make new friends and don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about the game
Medal of Honor: Airborne is for you!
