If doing the same events over and over to grind for new cars that don't feel any different appeals to you, go for it. But I can't recommend.

I think this is a good game. It has high quality graphics with good detail. The driving itself is fun and interesting. There are many things to unlock and discover which makes it an enjoyable and addictive game to play. It is clear that their efforts have gone into four wheeled vehicles as there are limited game modes and vehicles for those who would prefer bikes. It is clearly more about the cars. Paradise city contains many hidden places and jumps however slightly more realistic traffic would be nice and more things for bikers. On the whole this game is thoroughly enjoyable and very addictive. I would highly recommend it.

This is one of if not the best racing game that I have ever played! Almost everything is spot on, and there are very few annoyances. The graphics, gameplay, music, and the design of paradise city are fantastic! the city, the cars, and everything else are very well detailed. The gameplay is tight, esponsive, and the controls feel perfect for this game (if you're using a controller). Almost all of the music fits very well into the world and atmosphere that Criterion has made, but I can't say that the music is great (I think it is) because that's all up to youand your personal taste. And Paradise City is a very well crafted open world that is a ton of fun to explore full of seceret areas and shortcuts that help you win challenges! the only major negative that I have is that you sometimes feel like you cant avoid a crash. Mainly because you sometimes cant see a car, wall, pillar, ect coming until it's too late. That can get pretty annoying, but it doesn't happen all that much. Overall, Burnout Paradise is a very well crafted skill based racer that doesn't hold your hand, but never feels very unfair with great physics, world design, controlls, fitting music, and graphics. I deffinatley reccomend this game to all who want to try it, or are even just slightly interested in it!

In short, this is the best casual racing game for me.
If you feel bored with your current game, you can relieve it by play this game for awhile.

Anyway, this is an open-world racing game. So when you're in the race, feel free to drive wherever you want as long as you reach the finish line, which is good in my opinion.

The another good thing with this game is, I barely hit the brake when I need to drift around the corner.
so, yeah... HIT THAT MF NITRO BOOST BUTTON INSTEAD, FAM!!!

Overal 8.9/10 to kill the boredom.

**REVIEW CHANGED FROM NEGATIVE TO POSITIVE** - See Edit for details

I'm torn. Giving this a negative review is something that hurts me a lot, because I really love this game and I have done for years. I get annoyed when people start their reviews like this, but hear me out.

This game is fantastic. I first played it back when it first came out on the old 360, and it was a blast to pick up and play with my friends. The game is great and I had unlocked every car in the game. The driving is more than solid, and holds up well today. Got a great soundtrack, a lot of cars and an interesting world to play around in.

So why the negative review for the PC version? In fact, the negative review isn't for the game itself, it's because the DLC is not available on PC any more, at least on the Steam version. This is a huge shame because the DLC has some of my favourite parts of the game, especially the toy cars pack and, in this case, the time savers pack.

Of course, if this doesn't bother you, please disregard the negativity. It's a very good game, especially so with friends. If you don't want the DLC then consider this review a shining endorsement! I LOVE this game! But if you want my advice? Just don't get the Steam version. Get it on Origin instead as you can at least get the bonus vehicle DLC pack.

Edit: This review wasn't really clear when I first wrote it, so I'm making some quick corrections. The game is good, don't get me wrong. I guess the biggest contributor to the issue is that the game just doesn't have any support on Steam any more, hence why I suggested getting the game on Origin instead as some DLC is still available. I am aware Criterion have moved on from this and aren't supporing it any more at all, but I don't expect them to continue supporting a game this old anyway. I've changed the review to a positive one after realising my mistakes (thanks for bringing me up on it, Illimitus). The game is great, I really want to sing it's praises, but if you want the DLC Steam isn't the place to do it. If you want a good game without DLC, this is absolutely worth a purchase. Apologies for a misleading negative review, any future reviews will not be made just before going to bed on a late night :)

Aside from the "Ultimate Box", this game is a must have for all wheels lovers out there.

Burnout was my best racing game even since childhood, crashing cars it's all about that. What's better? you got as an intro Paradise City for Guns n Roses.

Multiplayer is still active too, get it and start smashing
