This game is very cool and the cars are awsome despite them being not licenced. The graphics are cool as well, the only downside with this game is the crashing "cutscene" because sometimes is very annoying.

Overall, I recommend buying this game because it is a very fun game to spend your time in.

It's a great game, and one that I played the crap out of on 360. It definitely runs better on PC, but I'm a little disappointed that you can't get the Big Surf Island DLC without modding the game. Is it worth it without that? Definitely. This is one of the best arcade racers around and nothing has really come out since that I would say is more fun.

Sorry guys, I don't care how good the game turns out to be.
I simply cannot reccommend a game that takes me 10 minutes of fiddling with EA's DRM and closing their in-game popup ads; just to make my way to the main menu screen.

Some other guy said its half as intense as driving in New Jersey. I disagree and think Criterion Games did a very good job at Garden State Parkway Simulator 2009.

It's a Burnout game.
On your computer.
With seamless drop-in drop-out multiplayer.
Fully functioning to play together in, with custom racing checkpoints to place and a bunch of stunt goals.
Loads of cars to choose from and have fun with, including bikes.

If you're hesitating, buy it already.
It also has a different type of challenge at every single junction in the game, and completing enough of these unlocks your next licence. The challenges are all familiar favourites of Burnout fans be it Racing, Road Rage, Crash Mode, or whatever ones I might have missed- with the welcome inclusion of Marked Man and Stunt Run.
Road Rules, different miniature feats can be done on every road and put up online in real time from how fast you can get to the end of it, or if you can do a perfect park more accurately than everyone else.

The only things I would complain about is that there is only one map, and you can't build any custom tracks or stuff like that. That said, the map is pretty darn big with some hidden stuff and tons of shortcuts to find. Having nearly gotten the final licence, the map does feel a little too familiar sometimes though.

On another note, don't forget to turn off your mic if you don't want it on while playing online though! My mic setting seems to revert every time I turn on the game so I have to switch it off every time otherwise it'd just be on for everyone to hear me for no reason.

As a last note, press both Bumpers / L1+R1 (if I remember correctly) on your controller to start Crash Mode ANYWHERE. People seem to be asking where Crash Mode is pretty often.

This isn't what I would call a "good" game, but it is a fun game and so I can recommend it with a few caveats. The navigation system is just stupid frankly, and the thousand and one shades of grey and brown that make up the world quickly get boring and can make it hard to differentiate between the road, obstacles, and anything else. Your opponents have serious bungee cord going on, but that can also work to your advantage.

The big issue is how the world itself is set up. Mostly, it works well but sometimes it just doesn’t work at all. Once you start a race there is no way to leave the race until you complete it, even if you know for sure you will never, ever catch up with the other racers. So you have to spend five minutes slogging your way across the map from where you want to be only to listen to smart ♥♥♥ remarks from the annoying DJ announcer. There is also no way to restart an event once it begins.

BUT, and this is a large Kardashian sized but, the game is just plain fun when you are racing, running into other cars, making huge jumps and wrecking. The execution may be off a little at times but overall I am enjoying Burnout Paradise, especially for a measly five bucks.

But seriously, the worst thing I can say about this game is that it didnt come with a complimentary blow job. Hit me up for some multiplayer

By the way, to get the DLC (WELL worth it IMO) go to the Origins website, all four DLCs come in a bundle for like $1.49, cheap as dirt.

About Bonus Vehicle Pack DLC: altough you can not buy it on Steam if you have an Origin account with the same email address as the Steam account and buy it on Origin it will show up on Steam too.
As for the game itself, it's a 10/10 even without the DLC. Get it !

Had this game back when I was 10 on console. Must have played 100+ hours on it just driving around, not completing missions or anything. Times were simpler back then... Seeing a car be crushed into a small cube was just as entertaining to me as an entire campaign of singleplayer content. I bought this game for PC years ago when it was on sale but never played it because I had no doubt in my mind that it wouldnt run on my potato computer. Yesterday (as of writing this review) I decided to install it just to see how bad my frames would be, and suprisingly I was able to run it at low settings at a decent 30 frames per second. It was the best feeling driving around paradise city again for the first time in 6 years. It also proved that little has changed in what can and can't keep me busy for hours on end.

Great game. Probably the best "arcade" style racer available on PC.

Fantastic for simply dropping in and out for a quick race/crash here and there.

My only problem is that, without some kind of mod, you HAVE to hear Paradise City by GnR every time you boot the game. Otherwise, I just put on K-DST and enjoy a nice drive.

In my experience, the best arcade racing/driving game of the last decade, if not ever.

-Don't mind my 0.6 hours played. I've played mostly on Origin, and consoles back in the day. -
