Multiplayer: no multiplayer
The program integrates into the campaign of Spore and deals exclusively with the last of the five stages of evolution, the space phase. In it, you will no longer receive only generic random orders, but also encounter handbuilt missions, the result from the space ship and down to the planet's surface. Better still, you can even create your own adventure! What sounds promising, quickly reaches its technical and mechanical game limits, because the new Spore missions are on Simple-level.
So far, the pilot your spaceship remained in Spore anonymous. Now he is a hero and given a name missed. This also happens when you load after installing Galactic Adventures a previously saved game universe. The captain as the central figure you need because he always beaming down in the new missions to the planet and there is controlled by you directly, as in the creature phase of the main game. You stick him in the ordinary creatures editor on the body. Also new: If your pilot is conveyed often enough, he can earn a super weapon for his spaceship. This increases the motivation in the Space Stage.
The most galactic adventures are undemanding according to the simple options. Time we beat ourselves in a ruined temple with always the same spiders, sometimes we run out of conversation partner to talk to. Some game concepts not go on because Spore is too limited. In an Alien base we should sneak past guards, for example, to what is due to the awkward control not so easy. When we discovered that also makes nothing - we just run away. The narrow-AI creatures fails to "Search and Track" tasks complete, the guards get caught in boxes, and remains to be discovered anyway without any consequences. A combat mission, however, we create almost entirely by doing nothing - our allies put the attacker to alone. The balance is shaking in every nook and cranny.
Spore is a simple game. Because the addon does not change. Therefore, can be with him even simple adventure make. Instead enhance spore galactic adventures lift out his weaknesses. With the addition of galactic adventures of the space of the stage feels much more complete; it was already the largest section of the game, but now it has to do more variety and stuff.
